The new lad could be scoring a hat trick at the KP this weekend and Tanner would still being saying the deal should be done in a few days.

Doesn't Vestergaard play on the left side of def in a back 2? i can only remember Faes having to start on the left of a 3 a few times last season when Coady started on the right

Good performance in the second half and played some nice football at times. Faes and Vesty were pretty solid throughout which was encouraging -
close!

thought that was going under the keeper

Broke the British record as well

KJT needs to shave a couple of seconds off her PB here unless Thiam has a bad run
-
two bad changeovers in the womens 4x100 and not far behind the yanks. would've push them very close with a better last changeover
-
7 seconds based on current 800m PBs set within the last year, although hard to judge KJTs form as she's not competed over 800m this year. By my calcs Thiam needed to throw below 53m to be within 100 points., which is out of the window now - she needed an off day
-
KJT needs Thiam to have a bit of an off day in the Javelin to have a decent chance of gold going into the 800m. Based on current 800m PBs (both set within the last year), KJT can overturn a 100 point deficit from Thiam

So close and a big PB from Hudson Smith. couldn't do much more than that
-
Madness from Ingerbritsen trying to front run it at that pace but sadly took Kerr down with him.
-
Hudson Smith easing up with 50m to go there after a v fast first 300! If he can replicate that in the final and hold on at the end he has a real chance of winning
-
Possibly she felt she had a better chance of clearing 2.02 with 3 fresh attempts if she cleared 2.00 first - the wrong call in hindsight, although the Ukrainian athlete may have approached her last attempt at 2.02 differently if she didn't already have the gold in medal in the bag
-
Will be interesting how Ingebrigsten approaches this as i think Kerr comfortably beats him if it comes down to a last 200m burn up off anything other than a fast pace. Ingebrigsten needs this to be a fast race or for someone to make a long run for home to take the sting out of Kerrs finish. My only doubt about Kerr is he's hardly raced this summer since beating Ingebrigsten in late May - can't see any reports of him being injured but its just a little strange to not have a few sharpeners before the Olympics.

Hodgkison was cruising down the home straight there and looked like she had another gear left
