If a PL club are in for Guiu, going to very difficult for us to get him if we’re interested:

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
lcfc_forever replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Similar to the post above: Hopefully means a bidding war! -
We need a no.6 but if we don't buy one, Hamza is the best option - Winks is physically too weak, it's not Skipp's game (although I'm yet to see what actually is his game!), and both Soumare and Ndidi want out.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)
lcfc_forever replied to leicsmac's topic in General Football and Sport
Such bad form from Stokes, especially as he delayed declaring for his own personal milestone. Sundar and Jadeja earned the right to try to get their centuries. England players would have done exactly the same if they were in the same position. -
While the centre halves have been poor, there's not been enough pressure from central midfield. Winks isn't strong enough physically for this system. As well as a striker, no.6 is a priority position.
-
Doesn’t mention us but Enzo likes us and we need a striker so?

Posted it in another thread, it’s excellent. Here is the link to the full interview for other posters: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0lrv9rc?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

Marti Cifuentes - Style of Play, Tactics and Analysis
lcfc_forever replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
This is a must listen: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0lrv9rc?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile Marti discusses his approach and philosophy with Owynn from BBC RL, he comes across brilliantly. Big focus on developing younger players - clearly wants a smaller squad so he can work with them more and suggests there will be lots of transfer activity over the coming weeks. I thought of you @Ric Flair when listening to this, it’s exactly what you’ve called for. -
Says the club will be paying the compensation, and Carrick was another candidate, alongside Wilder and O'Neil.
-
My ChatGPT kept recommending Bo Svensson! He’s not done well more recently but did very well at Mainz for a couple of seasons.
-
If it’s true that he’s paying his own compensation and he’s taking a wage cut, wow - he really wants this! The fans will respect that, although it does raise further questions about the club’s financial position. https://talksport.com/football/3354006/leicester-marti-cifuentes-new-boss-wilder-oneil/

Posted about this earlier when I saw the link with O'Neil, suggesting a move for Cifuentes made more sense as a free agent. Has strong pedigree and football education, this is a good read as shows his pragmatism as well: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2023/dec/22/qpr-marti-cifuentes-manager-cruyff-championship

Listening to When You’re Smiling and they say again the club remain admirers but compensation is the likely issue. Feels like another Potter/Corberan situation when not going for our first choice hurt us.
-
Rohl not out of it according to BBC RL, confirms Wilder has been interviewed:
-
Is this correct? Personally, not happy with the rumour but if true, may explain why he is a front runner. We all want a manager that will focus on bringing through the youngsters.
-
Only thing I'm holding onto is Dorsett says O'Neil 'a frontrunner', not 'the frontrunner' so there's still some hope! Talksport said he wasn't a frontrunner but then they got it wrong on Russell Martin.
-
Read on X that the Pete O'Rourke story is not true and Page on his Instagram account has said he's in negotiations with the club. More rubbish from Football Insider then.
-
Yeah, there's only two people involved in the process - Top and Rudkin unless Glover has a view as well?
-
Don't think this has been posted from Talksport: https://talksport.com/football/3354006/chris-wilder-gary-oneil-championship-leicester-city/ Says O'Neil 'also has admirers among the Leicester hierarchy but that appointment looks less likely at this stage'.
-
It's ridiculous they're going to do this again given the experience of going for Cooper and RVN as they were easier to get than Potter and Corberan. When are they going to start learning lessons? Seems they won't. We need a change of leadership.
-
Cifuentes is surely a better pick than either, and not attached to a club. The lack of imagination is ridiculous.
-
He said last week Dyche was being lined up 😂 Mentions him and Rohl as other options so he’s not exactly committing to this, seems speculative. But there is more noise around Wilder, could well be an agent thing.
-
No

FLW are super unreliable, worse than Football Insider - likely this is clickbait to get attention as we’re one of the biggest clubs at this level. But even a broken clock is right twice a day!
