If Bilal does go, my priorities would be: Striker Creative midfielder Physical box to box midfielder who has strong ball recovery skills And then left back

If true, we owe them one for Skipp 🤠-
Not his biggest fan but got to say he brought control and professionalism to help us see out that match. An important cameo.

A lot better 2nd half.

We had a period of battering sides, patience is key. Back against the walls wins like this can be huge for morale. -

Agree, especially when you consider Charlton had a long unbeaten home record coming into this game, and having made a good start to their season. It wasn’t pretty but we got there in the end. Remember that the first few performances with Enzo weren’t great, we hit our stride after 7 games or so, and that was with a relatively settled squad. -
We’re hardly attacking on the left, need to add more variety to our play and Hamza needs to push on so Fatawu doesn’t get doubled up on.
-
Does the team realise we have a left hand side? It’s so predictable - Hamza gets the ball, plays it to Fatawu, he gets pressed by multiple players and then they get the ball back. Feel for Monga, they’re not getting him into the game.

The issue this time for Palace is there doesn’t appear to be another deal they’ve properly advanced as West Ham had a different keeper lined up so in theory should strengthen our position, but then again this is Rudkin we’re talking about! -

And another one from Sacha - sounds like we’re holding out for a higher (£30m+) fee, Palace don’t want to pay that much so looking at alternatives but they’re rejecting them! -

I don’t know who wants this deal more, Sacha or Bilal? 😂 -

The Athletic report also says Palace want Eze to play on Thursday in their European match and then complete the move to Arsenal so may be next week when Bilal to Palace is confirmed. -
Rather it just said not for sale!

The club surely have to use the Omari Hutchinson deal as the benchmark, even with the English tax. -

Hope the Palace replacement that talks have started with isn’t Bilal. -
That is a superb shirt, one of the best I've seen for the away kit.

The journalist Ed Aarons has just said the same. Newcastle have bid for Jacob Ramsey - do they get both Bilal and Ramsey? -

That's going a bit too far, he was the first to break that we were in for BEK. And he's been first on a few things before the likes of Romano. But he does have a record of embarassing himself as well, got it wrong on Sesko and now this. -
Miguel Delaney now reporting this as well - says he was excited most by QPR and opted for them https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/qpr-richard-kone-wycombe-wanderers-transfers-leicester-preston-b2805606.html

Now even Sacha Tavolieri who first broke the clause and Bilal's signing is saying £29m so what he and others wrote before about the release clause being in the low-to-mid 20s is incorrect. -
Fossehub has heard that Kone rejected us, but hasn't had a reliable journalist confirm it. If true and it was for example over wages, glad the club are finally seeing sense.
