Knew VAR wouldn't have the bollocks to leave stuff alone when it came to the knockouts. For me isn't a big enough foul to warrant overturning, even if he does tug his shirt slightly.

Hard to see Argentina not scoring, will probably get another penalty if it gets desperate.

Justice because again its the attacker making the contact, not the other way around. Messi needs to stop trying to stat pad with penalties and accept he's just hes not that good at them. Awful pen.

I can almost picture Donald Trump in his office desperately trying to find a reason to disqualify Belgium and reinstate USA.

Where has Fery come from always nice to see these stories. Reading up on him and it obviously helps british players if they go somewhere else for a few years, not really be British and have some money behind you.

Ramos must be fuming.

Would love to see how much Ronaldo changes once the camera stops following in him. Cynical i know.

Feel like that was a typical Spain game. Patient and get a goal in the end. Portugal need to look at a home world cup and build for it. If Ronaldo selfishly carries on then he needs to not be picked. Have a go at the euros and build for the world cup.

I think if Kane goes down holding his foot he probably gets the free kick. In the same way the defender gets a free kick when someone tries to close them down.

True, I'm sure they are being paid well and it's a nice softener. But I reckon Hart, Rooney and Richards would love to be out there, especially when they see all their ex team mates doing it.

Are the BBC going out there at all? Have to feel a bit sorry for the studio pundits, seeing everyone else out there experiencing it all

I assume it's going to be hot and chance of thunderstorms in Miami Saturday too?

Someone definitely had a word with Pickford at half time because he came for everything second half. Wasn't necessarily convincing but he got something on most things.

Imagine Konsa will be at right back. Unless Spence plays there.

Gordon is better defensively and with his link up, but Rashford is the bigger goal threat.

These days and definitely since VAR, the Kane one is nearly always given. Don't really like that a player can put his leg in-front of someone about to kick the ball and get the foul but in slow motion its always given. I don't know if it's just coincidence but I don't like that VAR only seems to want to get involved when the bench is up and complainig, especially when they've seen a video.

Same with the Norway defence. Could be a few goals.

Looks like Jordan Henderson broke his wrist celebrating a booking and injury without getting your kit on is some going.

Strange experience being unbelievably stressed watching a game whilst lying in bed

Think we just about shade norway in most areas, but its going to be an even contest. Proper English football style game. Be nice if someone else chipped in with a goal, but then Norway could say the same.

Critics and other countries will probably say Mexico aren't a strong team and we will need to be better to beat the best, and they are probably right but that win was about character, fight and pride for the shirt. Mexico were average and had very little variety to their play.

Dan Burn may not play another minute but he's played a huge part there.

Any chance of the press getting out the ****ing way

Konsa better at right back.

It's coming home at the Azteca ****ing love it. Proud of that. Some effort. Helped that Mexico had nothing other than chucking it in the box from wide, but defended heroically.
