  1. Sometimes players can become the opposite when they become managers, of all our players in the last 10 years Kasper is the one I can see going into management.
  2. I have a fear that the more I see of Vardy and his life over the next few years, documentaries and TV shows etc...I will start to like him less I'd rather he retires into the sunset.
  3. He had his limitations which is probably why he never went further than us - but he's made the most of his career and has great achievements. Was a crucial part of a brilliant period for us and it's a shame he's had to end due to an injury. He is a bit under-appreciated compared to Vardy, Mahrez and Kante but I think history will be kind to him when we look back.
  4. Should have got the soccer aid team in.... Just the celebs though
  5. Went to Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington on Sunday. Saw full sets of Royston Club and DMA's who were great. Set clashes meant I saw bits of The Fratellis, Luvcat, Blossoms and Jamie Webster. Spent a fortune on weak cans of Amstel but overall a good day. Stunning weather.
  6. Europa League already looking a bit stronger next year with some of the names in it.
  7. It's a shame this event is being treated with contempt because it should be a good reason to celebrate and remember. But you can't have a reunion game while the best players from that team are still playing. And it also shows how little the club understand about how disconnected the fan base is with the club.
  8. Too many late teen/early 20s players getting contracts in my opinions, couple deserve them and stand a chance of first team but others are just making up numbers and blocking game Time in under 21 football for the younger lads.
  9. Hull probably the worst team to ever be promoted but fair play to them on the day. Again, boro and their manager massively overrated. Will probably annoy Southampton even more watching that.
  10. Think the EFl will be hoping Hull win. Bit I think it's inevitable that Middlesbrough who..
  11. I think Pep leaving gives Arsenal a chance to go back-to-back. If it is to be Enzo he has a tough job to replicate, and not sure where the other threat to Arsenal is coming from. Chelsea under Alonso, who know's? Will Liverpool get stronger with or without Slot? Man Utd have fell into the Carrick trap but if he can build on this year then who knows.
  12. Apart from left back he has picked players to play in their positions, which is something we always complain about. Could've picked 4 number 10s and played them wide but he's got 2 who play on the right, and 2 who play on the left.
  13. Got around to watching it last night. Not sure his friends were too helpful in the early days Second part was nostalgic and I felt the excitement coming back to me. It under-played the part other people in the squad played but it's a film about Vardy so understand that. Hit home how much Vardy continue to get better in the few years after the title win as well.
  14. Foden and Palmer are a sign of where football is right now. Likes of Morgan Rogers are preferred because they are more direct, have more running ability, physical presence whilst also having a decent output. Rayan Cherki is one player who is similar to Foden/Palmer but has more about him in other aspects of the game so he's thriving.
  15. From memory I think Madueke has done pretty well for England, especially against weaker opposition. His directness on the right can be an alternative to Saka cutting in.
  16. Feel for Jarrod Bowen as well because he'd be a decent squad option and no-one is even questioning why he's not involved
  17. Part of me thinks fair play to Tuchel for picking players he likes and will do a job for him and not what people think he should do. But at the same time it has a very average premier league team look to it. I think Maguire should be included but again his family getting involved does not help him
  18. You do have to factor in characters when it comes to picking players who might not play much. Tuchel has said plenty of times that we he wants to see it as a club squad. Probably why Henderson will be there.
  19. Anyone done Alexis Sanchez and his poorly lip? He can have a reunion with Fuchs
  20. Harsh on Maguire but there were comments from Tuchel in the last friendly which suggested it was unlikely. I remember thinking it was uncalled for at the time.
  21. As good as it will be for Brighton or Bournemouth to be in the Champions League, would they rather be in the Europa and have shot at winning it?
  22. Yeah I thought he was a bit disrespectful to North and Finn. I thought he made some decent points on county cricket in regard to journeymen cricketers blocking the path for youngsters to get opportunities and county coaches going for the experience rather than risking youth. Quite a few of the pundits seem to not rate Rehan - listen to this and the sky cricket podcast most weeks and neither of them seem to rate him.
  23. Decent move for Marco Silva. Fulham are a club that are always one bad appointment away from dropping down the league so interesting to see who they go for.
  24. Disappointing that Mahrez and Kante would rather prepare for a world cup than play in this Looking forward to the 20-year anniversary game.
