Came back from Dubrovnik a week ago. I think they class 1st April as start of the season so probably be a few more options for you in terms of what's open, boat trips and the cable car should be open too. I'd say walking the walls is over-priced on its own, but if you get a Dubrovnik Pass it covers the walls and all local transport, so we found it decent value. I'm rubbish at reviewing restaurants, but we ate at Taj Mahal (bosnian food) expensive but was a nice meal. Went in a few bars for single drinks really. Dubrovnik beer factory in Old Town looked decent but was only half stocked and had no draft, Irish Pub at Gaffe had TVs for any football watching but not very big, Buza bar was a stunning location if weather is nice but again was only half open for me, and expensive (cash only and only sold bottled beer), Cave Bar in Lapad was pretty cool. Went to Cavtat (Bus not included in Dubrovnik pass), looked great but very few things open Beautiful place though.

Well it's the only red ball cricket he can play before a test series in August. So makes sense, much easier for other nations to play in our circuit due to the amount of teams. I don't follow the Leicestershire squad as much as I should, but we've replaced a middle order batsmen with an opener? Who drop's down? I imagine the aussies will want him opening the batting.

Got back from Dubrovnik yesterday, beautiful place. Got lucky with the weather for this time of year, pleasant and comfortable. Couldn't imagine doing all that walking in the heat of summer and with the crowds. Still a few people about but not overwhelming. Not a lot open this time of year in Lapad area and Cavtat but still beautiful walks and views. Not cheap for beer though.

Is The Merchant still there I'm off to Dubrovnik tomorrow, any know of any particular bars I need to check out?

Trent is a weird one because surely you'd think he's good enough to get in the squad, plays for Real Madrid but no-one ever fancies him for England. Can't be no worse than Djed Spence surely.

Not sure about DCL or James Garner but no harm in having a look. Different players I know but Garner getting a call before KDH is crazy. Lewis Hall 100% deserves a shot and probbaly has a decent shout in going straight into the first 11. With defensive options so average, I would say Maguire is in the best 4 centre backs so probably deserves a recall.

People like to go over the top with the criticism of English teams but Newcastle, Chelsea and Spurs were always 2nd favourites. Man City is a 50/50 draw that could go either way, it's unlucky for them to get real in the last 16. Only Arsenal and Liverpoll you'd 'expect' to go through, we will see if Liverpool do tonight.
