I'm excited for reset, although I'm aware it's likely that won't happen or at least efficiently. I think this team is good enough to win the league, it will be the squad depth we will struggle with. I would like vardy to have one more year, i still think he can get 10+ in at 39. Prime R9 Wouldn't score in this team this season. Okoli i think is worth keeping at championship level and giving him a full season of starts Ayew and reid, unfortunately we are stuck with until contract end..... mcateer would keep for squad depth although sell if another 8m offer comes in Excited for evans, briggs, cartwright and monga (if we keep him) to come through. Not quite sure what i'm playing at, but me and my mate want a season ticket for next season. I have tried for the last 3+ Seasons and been unsuccesful. Does anyone know the threshold for success in terms of the points required? Assuming just home points are taken into account.

Stuck between a rock and a hard place though isn't he. We may think what have we got to lose by playing youth cos the seniors arent performing, but at the same time we arent yet relegated so we do have something still yet to lose. Could it also possibly be unfair to put kids into the limelight on a relegation battling team where at the moment the atmosphere is toxic and getting hostile. That could cause more harm than good, if they can't handle the pressure. TBH, i dont think any other manager would play any youth right now in our predicament unless they had a young messi in their squad.

It's about damn time now, that the board back the manager and not the players. We are led to believe even Top had a pop at the players after cooper sacking because they weren't doing enough. Regardless of how often he is playing, i think Ruud has every right to say something. I think it says more about Okoli that he is pushing to leave because of it. Some fight he is showing when his team is in a relegation battle.... Again, Ruud is feeling the pressure but i'm interpreting it as he's one of the few that fvckin cares about the state of us right now. As Percy states, the players have it too comfy, the facility is too luxurious for a poor premier league team but as we know, it has all stemmed from the board and lack of leadership.

IMO Philogene is nothing special, there's a reason villa have let him go 6 Months after re-signing him. The fee flatters the player IMO. To be honest, even though ipswich have signed a fair few players in the summer and this month, i really don't feel like many if any are premiership quality. There in the gap of too good for championship, not good enough for prem. saying that if they go down, i fully expect them to thrash the championship with their squad.

It's really hard not to, but I don't think we can really compare our atmosphere or season to theirs. After all this is a teams that should not have been relegated last season. Ipswich fans are enjoying a season of disbelief and dreaming, very much similar to us 15/16. Whereas, rightly or wrongly, we are the Man city of that same season in terms of stature and squad in this division. I just fear that if we drop off 1st place, our fans won't back the lads and instead go the opposite way.

Soooo i'm currently sorting through my programmes and i come across one against red star belgrade Wed 11th Feb 1981. Could anyone tell me what the fixture was for? I can't find any record of it in our european games so assuming it was an oddly placed good relations midweek friendly towards the end of the season, with sunderland to play at the weekend?
