  1. Give them the chance to swap the tie if at home
  2. Taking a premier league side to a replay is still a huge achievement though and prior to them scrapping them, teams wouldn't of known any different
  3. Bet there's no end of folk who can't get in at Spurs normally and if not there would be tourists that would pay it
  4. This sounds as if it's encouraging it
  5. Not as if we're talking about well off clubs squabbling over a few quid, this is money that could keep these clubs running comfortably for years
  6. Or they let lower league sides give up home advantage if they want
  7. Financially I'm sure they'd rather a replay than lose in extra time or on penalties.
  8. Great start by Tamworth, also great someone sticking one on Gray early doors
  9. The partnership with Mir was funny to watch
  10. Maxwell with a very good innings this morning, done a great job in keeping the strike when they looked like being in the shit. Partnership currently over 50 and Mir has faced 2 balls with 0 runs
  11. I think that's what's niggling about it, the general action etc is pretty entertaining but the actual plot and where it goes in terms of answers leaves me unsure
  12. Watched the trailer and got the same impression. Probably setting myself up to be disappointed
  13. Just linked up with his old manager hasn't he, don't think it's necessarily an ability problem
  14. Hasn't played enough to be called "gash"
  15. Not that surprising is it, based on personal issues
  16. Some big innings this morning in the BBL
  17. Southampton and Leeds probably felt the same though
  18. I think the hype definitely had me on edge about it a bit more then I needed to be.
  19. They definitely need to bin off the coin toss, just let the touring side decide
  20. The main benefit I guess is that it creates a physical reward for doing well, and you'd hope that in turn keeps pushing the big nations to take test cricket seriously.
  21. I didn't say don't play the big sides? I just said the bigger nations should have results against those nations reflected in the points won
  22. Although they won't have to watch their club be an absolute mess off the field, even if they did go down
  23. It makes more sense to get everyone actually playing a similar number of test matches first. What is there currently 12 test playing nations? You either have a tournament like you've suggested, 4 groups of 3, first in each group goes in to a straight knockout last 4, winners play the final. Or if you make the championship two tier, everyone still plays each other but say Australia beat Zimbabwe it's reflected in points so they'd get less than beating India. Obviously it'd have to be fair with every top tier nation playing 2 second tier sides or whatever.
