  1. Half dreading it today. When are we going to turn up? The players are not playing as though everything's on the line - Hope they show a bit of fight and tenacity today and that they are the best team in the league when they can be bothered to show up
  2. Any chance whoever wrote it could give the team talk? Oh and also back to 4-4-bloody 2
  3. Don't even suggest it !
  4. Mind games but will we psyche ourselves out as we have been doing for the last 10 weeks? Those who are down it's difficult not to be with the lack of fight shown last year and then it being replicated this year. Feels as though we're getting our excuses in early - We paly Tues / Fri not fair - others play Weds / Sat - We have so many injuries ....... well so does everyone else and none of them have a squad as expensively assembled as ours Will we turn up tomorrow? Answers on a post card
  5. Because he's been crap for a few weeks, the goals we've conceded can be directly traced back to him and he's waltzing around like he owns the place, cupping his ear and generally being a Tw*t. I wouldn't have him in the squad
  6. Playing Faes at the moment is very controversial. My view is that we need to cut out all of those who are malignant at the moment I'd play Coady and have James to potentially sweep as there's a distinct lack of pace - Playing Doyle only exacerbates although Mavi plays better with him and switching of wingers during the game is something I'd encourage
  7. He needs to select the right team Madds Ricky Coady Vesty James Winks Yunus KDH Abdul Mavi Cannon Changes to be made if players are showing lack of desire, form etc asap
  8. He’s got an attitude his ability doesn’t warrant. The very essence of why we’ve been so soft over the last 2 seasons. First one out of door for me whatever.
  9. I was thinking of the penalty down here against Everton when no one seemed to want to take and the guy that did totally and utterly bottled it
  10. Great Post mate as that's exactly how I remember us and we've lost our way. I met Jock a couple of times and I was in total awe of the man, more so than if I'd have met Ali (my ultimate hero) or Elvis (who was dead at the time ). Humble, Loyal, Passionate fans that would royally take the p@ss but we also we didn't take ourselves too seriously. Somewhere down the line we've lost our identity.
  11. Yes the sheer homage paid to Jock was like nothing I've ever experienced with another manager - He really was a Scottish God. When he left I remember fans being a bit bewildered that he'd fuched off and fuched off to Motherwell of all places - there again it was strange why he'd come to us in the first place too. Gordon Milne in many ways was a far superior technical manager but never got the accolades probably due to his mild mannered nature (especially when compared to Jock) and also that he'd previously been C@v manager
  12. A great comparison that. It always felt as though he had one eye on the camera, that his commentary was often rehearsed and that he sought to promote himself at every opportunity.
  13. My lucky shirt went into the bin last Friday. I haven't got a clue how Saturday will play out. You'd hope that results will galvanise the team but with this bunch of snowflakes they could capitulate at any time
  14. By the way what a cracking front 4 that was - ooohhh Tommy Wright, He's not bald Rooster Russell, Paul Kitson and David Kelly We should have got promoted that year P.S I remember giving Chris Powell a bit of stick (saying he was shit etc) at a corner and him just laughing at us - When he came to us and I realised what a great guy he was I always felt a little bit guilty
  15. It doesn’t sounded great for Stringer at the moment does it!
  16. Yes sunny Cleethorpes was my holiday that year. I remember it being rammed with Leicester and I had to go into their main stand. 2-2 and I’m sure Lineaker got a bicycle kick? It was great following us during Jock and Brian Littles time with us. If I had my time again I’d still follow us everywhere as I did back then.
  17. I just find it difficult to believe this lot have the minerals They failed us last season and have failed us in the last 2 months at the critical time - we also have a stubborn as hell manager who will not make the changes required. it's a no from me
  18. I was there scaling the fence when we scored. There were thousands there and really was the start of Leicesters' rebirth - Leicester are back Hello! No problem with passion with that lot behind you
  19. Agreed. I'm old and should know better and I'm only just coming round today and following average results for Leeds and Ipswich. If they'd both won I'd still be absolutely furious It really is a day out for some who often look totally emotionless win or lose It's why I don't go to The Tigers. Good game, good afternoon out but I'm more upset if we lose a pre season game than if they got relegated - Therefore, I can't be arsed to go - we have a lot of fans who do chose to go.
  20. Yes it does feel as though you're having to hammer in jigsaw pieces into the jigsaw - To put someone in to counter the lack of pace and give the team some needed leadership with Coady you have to put in JJ who's recent form has been poor. My view is generally you should select quality players because they will come good / perform better over time and I hope over the remaining 4 games. To counter Doyle's range of pass would certainly hope find space and put us on the front foot. It's so blummin difficult
  21. I like your team - seems to address many of our issues / real dire shite we've seen. The pace at the back's a bit of a concern but I don't think we have a starting 11 at the moment to cover all of the problems we've exhibited over the last 2 months I'd continue with JJ COYB
  22. I think it's an excellent idea to have Marc Albrighton involved but we should stick with Fatawu as he can produce the spark we so desperately need. Mavi needs to up his general performance but obviously he is a potential match winner and we need as many of those in the team as possible.
  23. I’ll start with 2 easy things:- Drop Faes and bring in Coady Drop Daka - personally I’d like to see Cannon back in
  24. Yes Matt Piper thought his questioning was robust. I think he realises the questions we want answered and also that his job is holding the manager to account. I thought Enzos answers lacked clarity - almost like he’d not thought of making more changes. He really needs to get his bloody finger out
  25. Bring Nelson on to the bench and Coady into the team - he’s the sort of player you want nowhere near the starting 11 now
