I'm 58 and have supported the Foxes for 50 odd years. I live down south now but my dad and grandad were born and bred in Leicester and I will always support them through thick and thin, long after this bunch of useless idiots have left the club. Hopefully harsh lessons have been learnt and we can move on. Still have to pinch myself about the 2015/16 champions season. Just incredible. No one can take that away.

Because of PSR issues clearly waiting to sack RVN when season finishes. Russell Martin all day long for me. Had no chance at Southampton in the Prem and knows the Championship.
-
We will be stuck with him next season on 80k a week. Could do with moving him on but with his injury record there will be no takers. Another cock up by the board giving players long contracts.
-
Guarantee he will be moving abroad to the MLS or Saudi. Not good enough for Premier league and the Championship can't afford his wages
-
I know he is the GOAT but just following the money I'm afraid. Relegation didn't hurt him enough to stay and take a pay cut to help Leicester back into the Premier league.

RVN clearly trying to manoeuvre things so he is sacked before the end of the season as payout will be more. I reckon he will go at the end of the season so as to cost the club less. Hence the phrase he was using about wasting time if decision not made until the end of the season. Bit of a cheap shot if you ask me. Get rid at end of season but start to tap up potential managers before. -
Do you really think footballers give a toss. Vardy was on 140k a week. Utterly scandalous. I know he is the GOAT but he'll be off to whoever offers him the most money. Football is broken. Fans need to put their money where their mouths are and not turn up to games. I'm 58 and wish I could go back to the 70s and 80s when most players were British and they gave their all for the club they played for. Money has totally ruined the game.

Just saying how difficult it is to bridge the gap between the Championship and Premier. RVN has had no money or been able to build a squad of his own. Mckenna has spent near on 150m and they are still going down. A sense of perspective please. -

You really think that squad was capable of mid table??It was clear from the outset that we just weren't good enough. Losing KDH and Fatawu injury didn't help and that coupled with disastrous signings meant it was inevitable from very early on. I don't know what team you've been watching? -

Everyone is saying he needs to go but look at Ipswich. Chucked over 100m for players at it and they are still going down. Mckenna overviewed these signings too and he hasn't been sacked. The gap now between Championship and Premier is massive a virtually impossible to bridge. I can see RVN staying and given first 10 games next season. -
Will he do the honorable thing and walk?

To be fair to RVN he was dealt a crap set of players who were never going to stay up. Had no money to improve the squad in Jan. Think it will be his choice as to whether he stays or goes. If we can keep the nucleus of this side with Fatawu back and a few youngsters in the frame then I think we will do well next season. -
Just watching Harvey Barnes for Newcastle. Sad that over the years we've had some great players we've had to sell. Always thought Barnes had a great attitude, no diving, no feigning injury, just gets on with it and is a great player. Keeping Gordon out of the side.
-
From about 5 games into the season you could see we were miles off it. Hopefully next season will be more enjoyable as this has been miserable. I wonder if it was written into RVN contract that if we get relegated he leaves with no compensation or will he stay?
-
Vardy I know you are the GOAT but paying him 140k per week is absolutely criminal.
-
In all my years of supporting Leicester there has never been a season like this where we are so far off what's required. Been so depressing seeing us getting hammered every week. I think everyone just wants the season over. Hope the travelling fans enjoy London as that's going to be all they will enjoy.

The problem with teams like Leicester is that if they get recruitment wrong then they are in big trouble. We wasted 80 odd million on dross and it's cost us. Ipswich have rolled the dice on signings and it hasn't worked for them either. The gap between the Prem and Championship is massive and over recent years has got even bigger. Every team has pace and power and we lack both especially at both ends of the pitch. Get the youngsters in next season in the Championship and get some identity back in the club. Too many old journeymen who just haven't cut it. There is a reason why they were premier league rejects. Get the scouting top notch like Brighton. Don't stand still and constantly look for gems like Bilal. We have taken our eyes of the ball in last couple of years with recruitment.
-
No chance!
-
Oh to support a team like Newcastle with bags of pace unlike chugga Ayew and lightweight Reid.
-
Yes, Alves getting rave reviews at Cardiff. Build a team around the youngsters next season. Monga, Evans, Alves, Nelson. Players that will give a toss for club. This combined with a bit of experience like Coady, Winks and maybe Vardy we might do something in the Championship
-
I think any fight they had is gone. They all know that however much they try they are just not good enough. I'm afraid that's the case with most footballers. They are just biding their time to move onto another club.
-
I think it's been pretty obvious from early on in the season that we would be going down. Managers can only work with what they have. Need to prepare as much as we can for the Championship. We have good championship players but the gulf to Premier league now is massive. Same teams will go down as came up, as it was last season too. We are miles off teams like Brentford and Bournemouth. You need bags of pace and power and we have neither.
-
Pathetic. Supporters just leave the stadium
-
This is going to get ugly
-
Same old, same old. Will battle for 70 mins with little quality and concede 2 goals.
-
We need wins now especially at home. Might aswell go for it with Mavididi and Buonanotte. Need pace and width. No point sitting back hoping to scrape a 1 - 0 which never happens.
