  1. Massive lesson learned today... We here on FT are sh!t at picking teams and prediction.. Mostly.
  2. Ifs, buts and maybe's, players move on, retire and are sold, the problem wasn't Kasper going, (although l remember thinking at the time that it felt pivotal), the problem was as it is now - the leadership and mismanagement of the club, in particular the lack of recruitment of quality and ridiculously long contracts on high wages for mediocrity. I also agree with @Soar Fox, had this been on Rodgers, Kasper probably wouldn't have gone to Celtic, but who knows. We needed leaders during that relegation season, we had none.
  3. You know, you are correct, l suppose given the choice of boring prem grind to finish 17th or entertaining mid table championship, l'd take the latter every time. Prem is becoming a joke.
  4. Yep, it would have been "I'd rather be relegated than have Moyes" this is where the term "entitled" is justified, these people live in a different universe where we are as attractive a managerial prospect as say Bournmouth when in reality we're closer to Blackburn! Personally I'd take any experienced manager over Van Rooney.
  5. We are now Dutch Rooney has the reins!
  6. Ahh, managers are like prime ministers atm - the present one makes the previous one look good.
  7. Lol.. Ahh but free speech doesn't stretch to criticising Elon Goebbels or his boss the new fuhrer, all that sort of comment is false and will be banned on national security grounds.
  8. I can think of at least Seven, maybe an Ordinary Decent Criminal or an American Beauty like Ryan Reynolds? We need someone who can bring down this House of Cards and renew the Contract with the fans to end this Billionaires Boys Club we have at present. And of course we could reach a Verbal agreement with keyzer soze or the Usual Suspects. Done now.. 😐
  9. You can bet your bottom dollar it's not, a group of players that succeed in undermining a manager because they think they are too good for his tactics then prove conclusively that they are not, and take no responsibility for their shameful half hearted performances. Any group will know who the passengers and rabble rousers are and there will be discontent from the rest, let alone the management failings at all levels. The owners and players are making football fans very happy - just not Leicester city ones.
  10. Oh, don't get me wrong (as lots do) l dont think Cooper was anything but crap, but maybe just maybe he saw that our squad was crapper (when lots on here were touting mid table), and realised he had to play the way he did because of the limitations. The fact that our talentless players were actively working against him is l think unforgivable and their only defence would have been an immediate improvement in performances, this has clearly not happened and l can only see them as snakes I'm afraid. I was hoping for a more ambitious appointment and was dismayed when Cooper was announced. But his remit was keep us out of the relegation zone and he did by whatever means - luck? The great Gary Player was called lucky "yep" he said " and the more I practice the luckier l get " So, l found his sacking at that particular time puzzling, but all was explained when it was explained that our owner had a serious crush on handsome though unproven, untested Ruud. I also really hate bullying, victimisation and double standards all of which has been in evidence recently in only now placing the blame on the real culprits when frankly its been them all along. It's often said that a man is only three bad decisions away from living on the street, in business the street is bankruptcy and our owner has made catastrophically bad decisions- Rodgers - too late, Cooper - wrong man, Van Nistelrooy - appointed on a whim. The next few weeks will define this club for years if not decades to come.
  11. Oh, sorry l didn't realise you were there when he specifically asked for the players, guess it would have been down to Rudkin if it was lovely Ruud. Players are not signed in todays world purely on a managers say so, those days are gone. Strangely the next target after Cooper- Ayew is probably the main reason we have the paltry total of points we have! But then l suppose thats down to luck. As I've said before, Cooper was a mistake, sacking him a worse one and appointing the next Rooney a total disaster. For me it's a FACT that no manager could keep us up with an inept owner and a DoF who is an agents dream, and that includes the hapless Cooper who has been and was always intended to be the fall guy.
  12. I find it awfully strange that many now say its all the owner/DoF/ boards fault, and that no manager could succeed with our rubbish squad. Where were these people when Cooper was doing better than this fool? Some of us said that Cooper was over achieving and were shouted down by the FT mob. Some said RvN was a ridiculous appointment and were shouted down by the same people. The fact is that some people smell the coffee quickly and others don't, it seems to me that no matter what Cooper did he would have been hated by these same people, who (as one so called fan commented about Dyche coming here) would rather see us relegated than succeed with their object of hate.
  13. In fact verging on twice as... Worse!
  14. Unfortunately we aren't going to sign any decent players no matter how much money we have, good players won't come here and our DoF is frankly incapable of even recognising such a creature. Our only incredibly thin chance is to find a manager who can get us to play in a style such that we can scrape wins and draws - probably in an ugly and seemingly lucky way.. A certain welsh bloke comes to mind... The Dutch Rooney is way, way out of his depth so even giving him 5 or 6 top players isn't going to change that!
  15. The buying bit is easy, the improving our utterly apalling squad should be even easier but when you have half wits like Rudkin and star struck rich boys doing the recruitment, there's only ever gonna be one result.
  16. Ahh l see... I think
  17. Sofa king f'ish?.. 🤔
  18. Better looking Cooper who loses more, concedes more, scores less and makes worse substitutions... Apart from that he's an improvement. Dutch Rooney out now!
  19. Err.. Have you noticed Cooper is gone and we now have the Dutch Rooney perchance?
  20. Quite agree, and it's twice as bad if its with each other.. 😐
  21. Well, l guess you'd have to question his intelligence signing for the clown show to begin with, so I'd guess that same level would suggest he has not. 😂
  22. Entitled.
  23. The lack of imagination from the dutch Rooney is staggering. Why not throw something different into the mix? Like a youth player? Totally predictable lineup (certain Buonanotte starts in the spurs loss), Totally predictable defeat number 7 incoming. Get this novice out before its even mathematically too late. Time to sweet talk/ beg big Shaun?
  24. About as much a missed opportunity as me missing an opportunity to pull Emilia Clarke having seen her on stage once.. IOW never remotely likely! 🤣 Agree with you re - Dyche btw, he will one day wash up here, hope its soon, ie tomorrow.
