  1. Strangely when all the planets align for a particular occurrence it rarely happens...... However....
  2. Totally correct from beginning to end, not Cooper the "fall guy's" fault or Ruvanis when he fails, entirely on Top and Rudkin. Certain passages stand out for me "Club officials were reportedly impressed by his playing career, reputation and “aura”, not least during the two games Leicester visited Old Trafford during his interim stint." By club officials he obviously means Rudkin, as l've commented before, this appointment was based on his playing career his appearance and beating us! Rooney has been appointed by other like minded fools multiple times and how has that gone? Another passage "There’s a fair argument that any Premier League manager starting Ward in goal in 2024 deserves whatever follows." Not so much the pointing out that Ward is - as we have seen every time he plays - utterly incompetent but what it says about Van Nistelrooy who selected him TWICE! But lots on here find excuses for him for precisely the same reasons the half wits in charge of the club appointed him! Great article from a man with no axe to grind. So it's not so much a case of would we be better off with a new owner, if we hope to compete in the EPL ever again we MUST have a new owner because frankly the present one is on a par with Rudkin and Ward.
  3. Lol.. Yep, add it to... Well everything really. 🤣
  4. Hmmm.. Ward will start if Mads isnt fit.. He has a claus in his contract... Coat being fetched 😐
  5. Until they prove they aren't by hammering us 0-5, to go with the 6-0 at Anfield which neatly ends our year with a 3,4,5 and 6. I was going to say that I hope the year doesn't start with a 7-0 at Villa but then realised l dont really give a shit.
  6. The fact is that outside of the county we are not liked, people see our club as (among other things) nasty and that our managers are effectively sabotaged by certain players deliberately under performing and whispering in the ear of a frankly gullable owner to disguise their own faults and weaknesses. I don't know if this perception is justified but the common denominator in this seasons shambles is not management - both of the appointments being imao wrong for different reasons but Cooper if nothing else seemed to realise that his squad was so poor that they were and are frankly incapable of playing anything other than dull, boring football and trying to keep a clean sheet and nicking a win or a draw. This worked to a small degree, but l believe he was hired to be the fall guy for the real culprits and it worked, judging by the constant battering he received on here. RvN (notice how he is "Ruud" whereas Steve Cooper was ALWAYS "Cooper") is clearly way out of his depth but will not take us down, that will fall to another knee jerk fall guy appointment when he has made it all but impossible to stay up before he departs. And January? How much faith do you have in a man who prefers Ward to Iverson (or to a clothes horse for that matter) or doesn't pick our best and possibly our most (only?) creative outfield player? Or in our DoF? Personally l think the spend in January should be zero because the people doing the picking are at best useless, loans or nothing until both of these fools are gone and we recruit capable people or we inevitably go down - sadly l know which one will happen first.
  7. At times like these l think its important to be empathetic and to sympathise with the feelings of others... So I'm wondering how West hams players and fans are feeling now.. 😐
  8. Hi Ruud... Welllll..
  9. Yeah right, start from the certainty that "RvN is a great manager" and build up the outlandish theories and improbable excuses around that! Occums razor - the simplest answer is usually correct. Ergo the celebrity manager is clueless and out of his depth hugely!
  10. Lol.. We are the perfect game for ANYBODY!
  11. No he won't, like Rooney there will always be idiots like our owner who thinks he can do a job and hire him! Relegation under Cooper was a strong possibility, under this joke its a certainty.
  12. Q. Whats the score at Anfield? A. The number of goals they got against Leicester..
  13. Last point means that theory cannot be correct, it the simplest explanation as usual - RvN is a poor excuse for a manager with NO idea!
  14. Sorry but Ruud is proving to be what many people feared - a celebrity, and a clueless joke. Rooney 2.0 This is entirely on the board and owners - AGAIN.
  15. No, sorry, just no, he was the fashionable choice, the cheap choice even the hail mary choice but not the right one. Sometimes one thing tells you everything you need to know about a persons ability. "Ward starts Iverson on the bench"..... ..... Everything you need
  16. Why not? Enough on here laid it at Coopers door and he clearly got more out of this trash than our new BFF! Selecting Ward over an even 25% fit Iverson should be grounds for instant dismissal let alone not selecting Buonanotte! The man is demonstrably WORSE than the wrongly appointed Cooper. Another brilliant decision from our owner.
  17. Lovely Ruud selects a team that evil Cooper would be totally lambasted for but thats ok cos we like Ruud. We are hammered 4-0 the worst result of the season but its down to the players or Rudkin or the tea lady but not lovely Ruud cos we like Ruud. Maybe just maybe the squad is simply pants and no manager no matter how much we like their looks and glamorous career could keep this lot up. Sorry to say the double standards from the haters turned lovers on here is simply breathtaking.
  18. MORE silver!! We literally couldn't have won less, so is Mrs Kane snr had welcomed Harriet Kane into the world we may have won a bit of silver with Vards, but sadly the Lionesses probably wouldn't!
  19. Saying he wasn't fooled by the WHU result! Bravo Chris you deffo need to be an expert to see we rode our luck. His prediction of a 3-0 loss would be concerning if he werent utterly shite at predictions. If the league panned out as this fool predicted we'd already be relegated.
  20. Lol, love your /s
  21. The really depressing thing is that Lucas, Antonio and Fullkrug don't even get in the side, these are our relegation rivals! In fact virtually all of their subs would be shoe in for us. How the hell did we get here? 😕
  22. Nah, don't fancy him, also l don't rate him, never did, but l really dislike people being scapegoated and used to cover up very obvious faults, he had a bunch of second and third raters to work with, RvN has the same, lets see how much the results improve shall we.
  23. So many saying"what else can he do with this squad" or "best of a bad bunch"... So true, they are dire. Strange, l don't remember anyone saying that when Cooper selected pretty much EXACTLY the same lineup.. 🤔 Guess they all must have suddenly got much worse, can't think of any other reason at all. But anyway, nailed on win cos RvN is here now.
  24. Whoo.. Too many glasses of red to remember that bud but l remember who did and it weren't Patson!
  25. QPR.. Win 5-0... Daka plays.. Dont score..
