  1. Absolutely, however as Tom Scott and Peter Tom own 55% of the shares, then no matter who bought the 45% (in the immeasurably unlikely event of them becoming available) the true custodians would retain control. As i say Rugby is NOT football and matches are - for now at least- sporting contests not a secondary event to making money.
  2. Sorry to disappoint but it's not, Tigers is like a family, selling to a shady Thai businessman would be like selling your mother to white slavers. Happens every day in football, Rugby isn't football. Tigers is run within its income and has been for years, often at the apparent cost of trophies but always to ensure it is here next season. There have been numerous offers of investment/purchase over the years, wisely all turned down (the one in 2020 because no investors shared the clubs vision of the future).
  3. Err. Just to point out that to buy something, it must be for sale, Leicester Tigers is most definitely NOT for sale and even if it were Rugby for all it's perceived faults is not a mercenary money grabbing ex- sport that football has become. God forebid someone like our owners EVER get hold of Tigers.
  4. Now you've got my hopes up that you may be ITK!
  5. And the great man even if fit all season simply cannot lead the attack effectively every game, maybe this is why we have stopped scoring - he's just knackered! There is simply no one else, Ayew is the only option, Daka is a joke and not near EPL standard and Mavididi has not kicked on from the Championship.
  6. Spot on, only thing is, even if we'd have sensibly gone all out for Moyes, he was never coming here - he is very clear that he's not finished with the prem but wants no part of a relegation battle. Also people hold out hope for a January miracle but here's the bad news. 1. Quality players wont want to come here. 2. We are not able to spend big. 3. This is the killer - our relegation rivals will also be looking to strengthen!! This is unfair l know but it's just the way it is! ๐Ÿ˜ Also unfair is that Rudkin wont be selecting THEIR targets, only OURS! Nailed on bottom two, not a single doubt in my mind. Personally l enjoyed the Championship last season and hope to again next season when we are down.
  7. Totally agree, feels like we are desperately trying to stay in a blatantly corrupt club that doesn't want us anyway! Like all governments, all politicians, all large corporations and on and on, the premier league, the FA, FIFA etc want power and total control, that means eliminating those nasty, unwanted surprises like small clubs actually winning things and making sure that those who oppose their corruption and bias by taking them to court and winning are excluded. The game l grew up loving has been bought and now the only thing left is which moral free criminals will cough up the most money to own and control it.
  8. Oh how l wish l could see it as you do, but what I've seen since our wise owner sacked Cooper is that we are conceding more and have virtually stopped scoring now.
  9. Errr.. Newcastle and Wolves?
  10. Either play Daka or with 10 men... No difference. The man is a joke.
  11. It's rarely the teams you expect to beat that you do and rarely the teams you expect that hammer you... Sadly l think we're in for a hammering here. ๐Ÿ˜• 4-0.
  12. At last! Daka is mentioned in the same sentence as Haaland!
  13. Leave it to ya!
  14. Lol.. As usual their 9 on the bench all start for us every game!
  15. I disagree, it's not that he can't accept he was wrong on the Fraud, it's that the man is unprofessional, bigoted, idiotic and a total, complete A-hole.
  16. Lol.. I can believe in Santa, still not sure about the tooth fairy and black shuck but l can't believe that even our clueless, gullable fool of an owner would employ either of those professional losers! *The caviat being not until we are fighting for promotion to league 1.
  17. Hmm.. I think you mean Drunkened.. ๐Ÿ˜
  18. Nah, it would but as he was a legendary player he gets an extra week, and then he's good looking, another week, oh and dont forget- No Forest connection one more week.. ๐Ÿ˜
  19. If FB is leaving in January then why not play him every minute of every game!! It's not like we have even one other creative player ffs. Thete is no question over Van Nistelrooy in my mind, he's out of his depth by miles.
  20. Odds or final score?
  21. Hey! Hold on! What's MM done to deserve that! Porky pies and Stilton.. ๐Ÿ˜‹ don't warrant such a fate.. And I'm pretty sure Bill Harrison would agree..
  22. Using the same logic as even a broken clock is correct two times a day, a cardboard cut out of stolarcyczyk is a better option than Ward!
  23. Strangely when all the planets align for a particular occurrence it rarely happens...... However....
  24. Totally correct from beginning to end, not Cooper the "fall guy's" fault or Ruvanis when he fails, entirely on Top and Rudkin. Certain passages stand out for me "Club officials were reportedly impressed by his playing career, reputation and โ€œauraโ€, not least during the two games Leicester visited Old Trafford during his interim stint." By club officials he obviously means Rudkin, as l've commented before, this appointment was based on his playing career his appearance and beating us! Rooney has been appointed by other like minded fools multiple times and how has that gone? Another passage "Thereโ€™s a fair argument that any Premier League manager starting Ward in goal in 2024 deserves whatever follows." Not so much the pointing out that Ward is - as we have seen every time he plays - utterly incompetent but what it says about Van Nistelrooy who selected him TWICE! But lots on here find excuses for him for precisely the same reasons the half wits in charge of the club appointed him! Great article from a man with no axe to grind. So it's not so much a case of would we be better off with a new owner, if we hope to compete in the EPL ever again we MUST have a new owner because frankly the present one is on a par with Rudkin and Ward.
  25. Lol.. Yep, add it to... Well everything really. ๐Ÿคฃ
