Brilliant. Awesome from Enzo to give him the whole 2nd half. We have a player on our hands here!
-
Deserved an assist for the first
-
It was directed at him with some real venom. Love to know what it was.

Doyle is slow and really unsure playing defensively. Fine playing forward. Prefer JJ in the role though.
-
Think Yunus is seen as cover for KDH.
-
Probably just best to collect your 50k a week for sitting on the bench and collect a Serie A winners medal than break a contract. Couldn't agree more.

Im sure the Enzo connection had a lot to do with it. I don't think we will be seeing him rock up playing for a Warnock team next year.
-
They guy has been capped for Italy 9 times and is currently contracted at Inter Milan. I don't think our interest has suddenly put him on the map. I have a Napoli supporting Italian in my team, and when i brought up our interest in him the responsive was 'Really? Nice, but huge injury problems.'. Sensi and his contract situation will be well known.

Their 6 game home form puts them bottom of the table. Lost 3 and drawn 3. Really should be doing a number on this lot today.

At this stage why should we care? We have a job to be getting on with and should focus on that. Sensi was barely playing before our interest and it doesn't sound like (unless I am mistaken) there was a huge amount of interest for him elsewhere. Inter could have got shot of him on loan for the last 1/2 of a season but chose to try and eek some value out of a player who they are very unlikely to give many minutes to, which in turn meant more complicated scenarios had to be drawn up. To some degree, the good news is that our promotion was never dependant on Sensi, although he would have undoubtedly strengthened the squad. If the player and Enzo think there is the opportunity for another nibble in the summer, then so be it, and if Sensi decides he's rather have an easier payday then so be that too. I hope we are looking elsewhere to be honest, but right now the squad and management have a job to do and Glover and his team have a project on their hands once the first team have completed their task.

Daka is a bit of an enigma right now. I thought he looked really rusty on Tuesday but had involvement in all 3 goals. He didn't touch for the 3rd but his positioning lead the defender to make a rash interception that led to the goal. He seems to make things happen at the moment even when hes not great.

Yet the slightest hint that we sell KDH and the fans go in meltdown. The same KDH that gets pelters every match thread and whos biggest criticism is being one footed and wasteful with his passing. We should be selling our prized assets when they are at the top of their game, and KDH is arguably there. A player that has never massively stood out as consistently great in the Premier League, yet seems to be regarded and a few clubs watching him.

Tell that to forest.

Sounds like the contract extension was drawn up as the solution to inter not wanting to lose him without a fee come the end of the year and us not wanting to pay a fee now. To be fair, us paying a fee for for the last 1/2 season he had a left on his contract always sounds barmy. This could have been a straight loan deal, it wasn't and herin lies compilations. In a way, i don't really care who's 'fault' it is. Sometimes deals have issues and they don't work out (and it sounds like lawyers on both sides played their part). I've been in business long enough to see it happen all the time. Move on.
-
Well it does sat that Inter took longer than expected. It takes 2 to get to a position where you are comfortable to start the 'final phase' of the process. I'm sure there is even more than shown above, but we should probably have pulled out as soon as contract extension started being mentioned. The player had 1/2 season left and should have just loaned him out. Bet they don't extend his contract now.

Also, every time ive seen Bristol play i thought they were naff. I think it will be pretty routine for Leeds tonight.
-
Knew but probably not fully understood the implications. The position could have also changed, or when he came in there was the assumption that certain outgoings were nailed on, but didn't happen. But he's not an idiot, and knows the restrictions on a relegated club. He probably saw Sensi as a low cost option and i am sure there will be some internal tensions following its collapse. I am sure he looks at what the other clubs have done and realises that right now, its different to where things were even a year ago.
-
I would save being sorry for people who really deserve it. He will still get paid it 50k a week regardless of having an all expenses trip paid to Seagrave.
-
They could have bought Nacho for a few million. Still shite, but better than Maguire and Evans. Probably.
-
He was a one off. Fatawu could well be someone who elevates to another level, but these players dont grow on trees.
-
Poor agent! This is not the last deal to fall over and it wont be the last. The agents will follow leads no matter what. I am sure all agents are aware what the market is like.
-
Who cares what Inter think? Sensi leaves anyway so if a future deal happens then it wont even involve them. Any we have more time to consider if this is the right player for next season anyway.
-
Because of this window, or because you are ITK. We had a pretty good summer window and i would have thought a huge amount of Glovers work would be focussed on the summer.

Can't go, but would love to hear 90 minutes of us singing the Enzo song.
