Why is everyone assuming that the doubt comment relates to certain fans. I assumed it relates to the club. If they dont buy into it anymore, then he will be gone. There is nothing to suggest that is the case. Why should we lose Enzo because certain fans don’t understand what they are watching? Sad thing is that these fans would openly welcome it, but hopefully smarter heads prevail elsewhere.

I jokingly said to someone that i resign from me job every week. Stuff happens all the time that boils my piss, i vent a bit and then get up and start again the next day. Even if its all fallen apart at board level because of transfers, and even if he hates every fan in the stadium apart from those in the singing section, you would think logically he sees the season out and get promotion on his CV.

100%. Can see Jordan Blackwell is trying to gets clicks on X posting drivel about threatening to quit. Hopefully Enzo has the sense just to get back to the training ground and get on with what he does best. Be nice to get this horrible transfer window out of the way as well.

Regardless of the type of football, players are going to make mistakes. We need to aspire to have better player than Praet anyhow so lets not use him as some sort of guage for how good we are. Mads has been brilliant for us, but he's still young and is going to make mistakes as well. Lets not assume Enzo has all the tools he wants and this is working how he wants too. It could take him a few years to get anywhere near that.

Would rather hope he would have better things to do with his time.

Correct me if im wrong, but part of the system is progressing if an opportunity presents itself (i.e taking necessary risks). We would rather retain the ball than give it back taking unnecessary risks. It's really then down to the individual quality of the players on whether they have creativity and are capable of taking risks. Praet yesterday seemed to do very little, whereas KDH (and Mavadid more late in the 2nd half) offered more creativity. Its the sort of thing i would expect to improve when we have better players or players have more confidence.

Its funny to me how this style does bring out the worst in people. Its why patience with the manager, and the team, is key. I feel sometimes fans will accept a 4-2 result playing murderball, yet 3-1 with possession football will be seen as giving the opposition too many chances. Our defensive stats and goal difference are insane, even with gifting many teams last minute goals.

And then someone will come up with something new. The sport evolves.

Can you not see the difference to how Enzo's team plays around in our half and how a Brendan team passed sideways between the defence?

Hilarious. So, if we were playing rip roaring end to end stuff, but not top of the table, do you think last night (cold Tuesday January night) would have been a full house. What about all those games on a Saturday that are largely sellouts - do they not count? Do Sheff Utd play the Enzo style? Everyone needs to understand that if we get this over the line, next year is going to be a slog no matter what style we play. A hard slog. Are our fans up for the battle like Luton fans seem to be? I doubt it, - we will just be hearing lots of 'told you so'.

I feel a lot of people would be happier if we were in 4th place and chasing it, rather than being top and seeing it out. In all walks of sport, chasing things down is more fun and gets the adrenaline running.
