  1. Its not a mentality, its a fact. I've actually been a bit critical of Rowett. I think Ipswich and Borough were largely poor and these were games we could have won, but i think the mentality now is to think like the underdog. I dont care where they are in the table. Every game in the EPL is winnable, we arent playing Man City, and if you can beat them on the day then their previous form is meaningless. The next 2 games Rowett is playing 2 teams really struggling for form. The Manager at Bristol is playing silly buggers and QPR have scored 4 in their last 6. If we come away with a draw tonight, it proves to me we are done. This is the chance. Next two games are there on the plate. What worries me is that Rowett will go for defend for your lives mode and tonight ends up 1-1. And lots of fans fall for it because we 'defended well'.
  2. Don’t recall him making a good pass this season.
  3. Which with the odd banger and his social media presence, means for the right move he could earn very nicely and have a half decent career. Certainly better than over worked tryer in League 1!
  4. Team is obvs influenced by the board.
  5. Yeah, but none of those games came after a 2nd half XG of 0.04 against Ipswich. Foxes never quit.
  6. He wasn't always guaranteed a start under Enzo - he had to earn it. We had other players creating chances and KDH / Vardy were creating and scoring plenty of goals. He could play without a lot of pressure on himself - hence the dancing / crazy social media on pitch antics. We have now become dependant on his output. Its a different pressure on him, and he doesnt have the KDH/Vardy leadership around him. He is still young, and im not convinced hes developed the football brain or the temperament to deal with it. He would probably excel in a team where he's not the main man and has to prove himself rather than be the man who gets us over the line. Personally feel coming on as impact sub right now might work. We scored goals without him for a bit, and i imagine a tired Bristol defender would sh1t themselves if they saw him come on in the 65 minute to face a fresh Abdul that hasnt had to do any defending yet.
  7. QPR 3rd from bottom form guide. If we don't take the next 2 games, the 3 draws are pointless (well, we got 3 points, but you know what i mean ).
  8. I imagine being older, slower and having less quality around him masking his deficiencies plays a part. I remember him playing for Palace at the KP once. Thought he was a nothing player.
  9. Dont see it. Lots of talk about becoming hard to beat. But we haved moved from creating 'very little' to creating 'next to nothing'.
  10. Boggles my mind that people list Stolarczyk in this. He has struggled, but has the worst back 4 in front of him with no leadership, and for big portions of the season was keeping more out than his stats suggest. Never downed tools and still has development to do. For me the 3 are: Riccy. Appalling this season. Even worse as a captain. Offering no leadership, and no longer has the tool to lead by example. If there was someone you needed to look at to pull the team together its him - but he is completely vacant. Ayew. Lot of talk in preseason that him in a false 9 could be a cheat code. Scored a few in preseason just to give us hope. Would put his performances this season on a par with Danny Ward. Simply pathetic to watch him stroll around the pitch where ever he likes, fall over on the slightest touch, and give fouls away at key moments. And that ******g penalty miss against Charlton when we were 0-1 down. Bonehead. Also had to sit next to his biggest fan earlier in the season (cmon Jordon, unlucky Jordan, try again Jordan). Mavadidi: For obvs reasons. Actually think he has massive self confidence issues. But that SM post about the popcorn, and having such a poor record. And still does the step overs as if he is on 15 goals this season. I resist the urge to add Fatawu. I think he has proven to me this season he has no football brain. He has provided some brilliant moments (i nearly peed myself home against Ipswich), but the inability to get any basics right hurts us dearly. Also argues like mad with officials and our own players. Actually think we should be using him as an impact sub right now.
  11. And against West Brom. 🤪 And only a very late banger from Fatawu.
  12. Fans quite cant believe they didnt get their pot shot, double deflected 98th minute winner.
  13. These are on a slide into mid table end of season obscurity. Recent wins were against Blackburn and Sheff Weds, although they battled to a Win at Hull. Lost to Derby 5-0 recently and dumped by Port vale in the cup. We have to take the game to them. We cant be sitting back just giving them possession back continuously. These are going to be a significant level below Ipswich, Borough and Norwich. But i have a fear Rowett only knows one way of playing, and that to be the underdog.
  14. Fek all chance any manager changes formation.
  15. And Bobby, Okoli and Ayew are good enough? Same thing different manager.
  16. Not convinced it’s a howler. Hard near post shot through bodies. Think he did the right thing just trying to get something on it which he did. We had multiple opportunities to get rid and by that point in the game we were just handing the ball back to them constantly.
  17. He’s not offered anything different. If anything, youth getting pushed to the side.
  18. You thought we looked up for it?
  19. Who inverts? Riccy can barely move anymore?
  20. How many time should i write 'must win' this season. I agree the manager needs to be braver than the last 2 games.
  21. So you are happy with an xg of 0.04, not a single counter attack, and just handing the ball back to them like a compliant child? Worlds gone mad.
  22. Its a cliche - but you play who is in front of you. Ipswich aren't Man City or Liverpool. If they are off it, like they were in the 1st half, you have the opportunity to capitalise. Every game is winnable in the Championship. In that 2nd half, if you lay a glove on them you stand a chance.
  23. Has a good 'footballing brain' apparently. Which probably just means in a 1 to 1 capacity he just not a complete egotistical c**t. After that sending off should never be starting over players like Page and Mukasa.
