Its based on the fact that someone posted a picture of Rudkin on the phone during the Peterborough game. He was obviously on the phone to Wilder, or Dyche, saying 'we can't play these useless kids next year, we've got to find a way of getting Ayew and Bobby back in the starting 11 - the deal with Rohl is off'.

Dyche could be, Doubt Wilder would. Glad we wont pay Dyche what he wants.

So, here is my take. If Rohl is who we want, and personal terms have been agreed (this is rumoured) but the hold up is Sheff Weds being a nightmare to negotiate with, then i say lets just wait and stick with King as interim as long as King is in tune with what Rohl wants out of the squad. Its a long, long slog in the Championship, and im less concerned with having to wait and get things right with Rohl than I am bringing in Wilder or Dyche. Lets hope Wilder has been spoken to just to keep names on a shortlist.

Thing that struck me about yesterday was Kings comment about the Academy players performing well because of the attitude of the senior players. But, watching it back, Monga and Alves both played (to me anyhow) as if they were senior players. Both were very composed and very effectual. Gone is the version of Alves trying to overly impress, and Monga looked like he belonged on the pitch as much as anyone. It's amazing how a little game time has improved both beyond just their skill set, but in their temperament and approach. Any news on why Braybrooke didn't feature?

Well, if we are genuinely and seriously up for sale, which will presumably mean dumping Rudkin, Whelan and co, then depending on where that is (and takeovers are a nightmare even for small businesses), i dont see anything happening apart from a panic appointment. If they are providing this info to prospects in the interview process, i bet many wouldn't want anything to do with us right now. Kids looked great today. Play them.
