We can't play amartey and soyuncu together again this season, particularly away. They can't move the ball quickly enough or react quickly enough to support our play. The rest all comes off that

Daka adds the same dimension as Vardy. Him, Lookman and Dewsbury Hall are a nightmare when they are pressing and it sets the tone for Maddison, Tielemans and the full backs to be confident enough to get high up the pitch which leads to better play. I'd start rotating, Iheanacho, Perez and Albrighton playing inside right for the rest of the season when Vardy isn't playing. Which allows Daka to press from the front. It means only playing 2 of Tielemans, Mendy or KDH. In Europe that's no problem as mendy can't play. So might mean we have to rotate one of mendy, tielemans or Kdh out in the league

8 changes for Sunday v a tough Newcastle team. I think the subs today deserve a crack and shouldn't be too spent from 45 mins. I'm concerned that relying too much on Fofana / Evans could backfire. Amartey and Soyuncu should hopefully be good against Wood who won't beat them for pace. Mendy has been a revelation since coming back in. Moving forward and passing forward rather than being passive, really helps to give some go forward to KDH, Maddison etc.

Fofana, Iheanacho, Barnes, Castagne, Ricardo Evans, Albrighton all rested and we beat an in form bogey team. Can't say fairer than that. We need to seriously get them talking now. The sheer volume of injuries and disruption just hasn't / isn't being recognised. Even now we are doing it with out our first choice striker and midfielder.

The fact we can make 7 changes against one of the most in form teams in the division and put up a great show is testament to how much we have been missing this year.
