Absolute myth. The only thing it has in terms of demand over the Premier league is number of games. The games themselves are far more demanding in the Premier league than the championship as our last few seasons suggest. We got all this last time we were relegated about how much more physical the championship was and yet total weaklings like Winks did fine. Premier league players are fitter, stronger, faster. The game is quicker, more intense, more demanding. Is the premise that the less talented players just kick the shit out of you? Edit: seems this was remarked upon in the post following yours.
