  1. OG’s though. We’ll take it!
  2. Our first 11 would be underdogs away to Spurs, so when our second 11 (Kaspers in both somehow!) goes and loses it’s not really worth a meltdown even if there were something to play for in the league. As is, we’ve got some rest for the majority of Thursday nights players, given a few an opportunity to stake a claim to the bench and got out injury free. Take the positives. Even if that positive is that “player x” has played themselves out of contention. We’ve got a big game to play and seemingly a fully fit squad to choose from for the first time in about … what feels like an age. Just remember Tammy Abraham is no Harry slackjaw Kane!
  3. That is so like Kel. Cack all game then something out of nowt. Consistent in his inconsistency, consistently!
  4. Here’s hoping Bologna are full of shithouses who likes a “tackle” later.
  5. No pressure, nothing to lose,
  6. Can’t be arsed, or just not as good as a side sitting 5 or 6 places above us in the league?
  7. Not sure it’s worth risking Vardy is it? Gonna look a real dumb move if he gets hurt, presumably BR wants some minutes in his legs though. Fingers crossed. Butt clenched.
  8. Perez wants too much time on the ball every time he receives it now,
  9. Not a foul, just gash defending.
  10. Maybe he has some sort of issue with depth perception!
  11. Daka is doing well so far. Won some fouls, made some tackles, putting himself about.
  12. Kel should do better there, but nice link up.
  13. Bit poor from Soy being a mile behind our line playing Kane onside.
  14. Bit difficult, you’d need someone to put in good deliveries!
  15. The total confusion for Rodgers picking his side for Thursday after this lineup tonks Spurs 8-0!
  16. Swap him for Rodrygo! …and Jovic!
  17. He’s got a year left with Lille doesn’t he? I suppose if we were interested it wouldn’t make sense to wait til he’s free cos the competition would be greater. Be interesting to see what Lille would want for him. Hopefully a gangly Danish centreback and a perennially injured but experienced left back!
  18. I don’t think Europa League football is all that big of a concern when buying players because you’ll be buying a certain standard of player that probably can’t realistically expect CL football and so the defining factor will likely be wages, which is where Premier League teams blow foreign clubs out of the water. Onto CL football, it’s only Gosens that we supposedly missed out on due to not achieving it, but even then I’m sceptical that it’s a big factor because you’re unlikely to be edged into signing for a club just because they’ve just qualified for Europes biggest competition for that particular season. If it’s a side with sustained qualification to the CL then yes, it’ll probably be a big factor, but somebody outside of the expected clubs has probably got to put a run together for it to sway players. And even then, you’re still in a position where the biggest clubs will get them if they’re interested, wether they are in the CL or not because they’re a bigger draw even if we wouldn’t like to admit it. If we had CL football and one of Europe’s elite didn’t, they’d still be in pole position for that signing. If we get Europa League for next season we’ll have had 3 years in a row, which is somewhat sustained, and that may have an effect, but I doubt it. It’s about the wage packet.
  19. Just registered to say that Roma only have 1 keeper on the bench and the same number of subs, so seems we’re ok.
