  1. Not really, the likes of Wigan and Portsmouth have won it in recent (ish) memory, who were less fancied than us. What it might mean is that Palace need to worry about relegation as it seems a curse for anyone outside the usual suspects.
  2. So I guess that puts an end to us being able to play Rushworth goalie.
  3. Not really arsed who pays the £9mill, as long as it's paid. I doubt you'd be seeing Saudi clubs sniffing it his price was up for negotiation.
  4. Oooh him n Hackney totally revitalises our midfield. I wonder what their asking prices would be.
  5. They have almost the same number of points from the games involving the same teams. Cooper win against Saints, draw with Spurs, Palace and Everton, loss to Forest. 6 points. RvN wins against Spurs, Saints, draw against Forest, loss to Everton and Palace. 7 points. RvN's win against West Ham and draws vs Brighton are void for comparison because Cooper didn't play them. Coopers additional 4 points came from Ipswich and Bournemouth who Ruud has yet to face. So in terms of the only real stat that means anything, points, there's still 2 games for Ruud to fall 3 short of Cooper or go 3 better. However the fact that Cooper inherited a squad on a positive trajectory, had a full preseason, had a full transfer window with decent money spent, had a fully fit squad to choose from and basically didn't do any better than Ruud with all of those advantages over him just goes to show how truly shit Cooper was. They're both wank. But the revisionism is mental.
  6. Trouble there is you give him terms in writing that he (his team/agent) can tout around for a season looking for better, then when it comes to signing it'll be renegotiated anyway.
  7. I don't think this matters nearly as much as it first seems. Don't forget that whilst we sold better players for more money, we also had much bigger debts/deficits to repay for PSR. Somebody on here might have already done some fag packet maths to see if we'll actually be worse off in that regard.
  8. Don't think KDH will fancy another bash at the championship. And rightly so.
  9. Haven't you just done the same thing?
  10. Did he? Based on? Or potential in the same way any footballer has potential?
  11. 20 year old right winger. One of the few positions where we have good, and young options.
  12. He might be a championship striker in a few weeks. Though in last nights play off first leg the only thing I saw him do was rake an opponents achilles and got lucky not to see red, then later got involved in a bit of handbags. Shit game tbf.
  13. Mav, Monga, Fatawu behind Evans... Job done.
  14. You watching the playoffs? Been quiet so far but for catching another players ankle and being a little involved in a scuffle. Dull game though, so not singling him out on that.
  15. I just meant in the squad, not on the pitch at the same time. Why would you do that to yourself? Ricardo might assume his role in the mid again, who knows? Wilf might stay. Lots of wait and see stuff.
  16. People keep referencing this, but I'm not sure he can be held accountable for a sign that someone else held up to effectively take the piss.
  17. Don't think of it as Hamza or Skipp. Think of it as Hamza AND Skipp or £5mill and Skipp. I'd rather see what happens with the latter.
  18. Aside from Rangers possibly, none of those are in need of a new manager though, so they're not ahead of us are they?
  19. It'd be Vardy even if it wasn't for the 200. The shithousery would be taken to new levels.
  20. You'll get the help you need at some point next season. Calling it now.
  21. I don't think we'll struggle to find a buyer for Winks. Not at his book value anyway. He'll be squad filler for someone.
  22. No it wouldn't.
  23. Nuno is available... WAHEYYYYYY!
  24. Nuno has kind of poured cold water on the situation. Nottm Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo to Sky Sports: "It was due to the situation. There was a confusion over the situation of [Taiwo Awoniyi]. "There was frustration to play 10 minutes with a player that had so much confidence and being positive that he's going to score. "We made the sub, then played with one man less. That causes frustration, it's obvious. "Football, football is emotions. It's difficult to control, especially when we had so much expectation today. "The fans were incredible, we wanted to proceed the fight. It's not in our hands now, we appreicate the effort of the players and enthusiasm of the fans. "It's not in our hands, but it's not over."
