I guess what I'm getting at it is that if he does come good for us is he someone we realistically want to sell or dare I say it, extend? If he's doggo or a bit parter that's done well in cameos like yesterday, then yeah sell. If he becomes an integral player for us, unlikely as that seems, then don't we extend rather than sell given the low fees continental clubs pay and the fact you'd have to replace him anyway? If he doesn't want to stay then it's a non-issue, you sell. Hopefully this is a legit problem come the end of the season.

They're not though. This is just an outdated perception because it doesn't fit with what you want to believe. Whilst I agree to an extent in that there are too many stats being constantly introduced. But Tony Blooms entire business ethos relies on stats such as xG, he's made himself a billionaire, his data driven model has gotten Brighton to where they are and his data driven model is the envy of the majority of clubs in the transfer market. It's all down to interpretation of statistics.
