The thing is even if you were keen on him as a player, his key attribute seems to be his crossing. We currently have no real centre forward. As is, if we're going to add wide players we need players capable of cutting in and being a goal threat themselves. Presumably why a link to Solomon makes sense. We need a goalscorer through the door before we could take a player like this, and if we don't get one for the CF role then any wide players need to be essentially wide forwards rather than traditional wingers.

Be interested to see if there is any real genuine interest from Saudi and which club it would be. As I remember interest in our players before from literally one of about 2 clubs who had no money. Jon Duran went in January for the big bucks and he's now on loan at Fenerbahce 6 months on. I think that's fairly appealing as well as you'll get on the pitch with some pretty big names and can learn a thing or two. If there is interest though they need to show it now and not once our window has closed while theirs remains open. Unless it's £60mill+

He's been given fxxk all in the market. He's having to deal with our more talented midfielders (arguably defender too) having strops and ruling themselves out. We've got gaping holes in the squad and starting 11. And we're winning games. I don't think his tactics are coming across particularly at the moment, but we're getting results, keeping clean sheets now and given we're doing that whilst not playing all that well in addition to the possibility we might get him some help with a few new signings, it's a positive start with a lot more to come.
