I think we need some more J names! And evidently so does the recruitment team. In the last few days we've been linked with moves for Jonas Omlin, Jusef Erabi, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Julian Carranza, Josh Murphy, Jordan James, and previously Joao Rego and Josh Brownhill. Have the club managed to secure a mega deal on J's for shirt printing? Or are we about to be sponsored by Johnson and Johnson or something?

This one went very quiet. I wonder if that's because we cooled interest until something happened elsewhere or if there wasn't really much in it anyway.

At the time nobody had kicked a ball, so in terms of proposition many had Ipswich as the more likely to return to the Premier League. Irrespective of that it looks pretty clear he's waiting on Premier League interest, and there's since been talk that Wolves have put an offer of £20mill rising to £30mill with easily attainable add ons. It's also kicking about that since selling Azaz and with so little time left in the window that Boro will not entertain offers for Hackney and he'll be staying. I'd love him here. I wanted him and Lennon Miller in to revamp our midfield, unfortunately one ships sailed and the other has a different destination.
