100% I'm generally of the opinion that loans with options or favourable obligations to buy are worth paying more for than a straight purchase, and in this case given he'd need to prove his fitness, despite it looking cheap on the face of it, if he's £5mill and spends 5 years on the treatment table it then looks like a very expensive signing. Whilst his injury record is reason for caution, so too is the fact he's never really performed outside of the Eredivisie.
