Trouble is we already have way too many fullbacks on the books as it is. We can't be bringing any in unless we get some out, and nobody wants ours. VK, Thomas, even JJ and Coulibaly. Then there's also the question of why use Amass over Aluko given one of them is our player and the other probably wouldn't be available to buy.

I think I'd like us to go for Dju as we've been linked before, but we won't spend the money required. Kone was the relatively cheap looking dabble, but now I think you're looking at 2 or 3 x that for any halfway decent looking striker.

Brentford and West Ham will be in real trouble if they don't bring players in. Look at their squads. On paper they look crap, so on the pitch you wouldn't expect much better. But again it'll take one of the promoted sides to take advantage of that unlike last year.

We probably are working on loans, there's been a few rumours, but sometimes you have a long wait while the parent club makes changes to their squad first. I only really want loans with options to go permanent, which is why I'm not arsed about clubs signing the likes of Nypan.

We desperately need to get a striker in for Monga and Fatawu to play off and link up with. Ok Muzzy, now I know you're on a windup! I suppose though, to entertain the idea, it all depends what the actual fee would be for JJ. If it's the £9mill that's been touted in the rumour mill then I wouldn't take a single one of them because none of them are worth anywhere near that and I'd rather we had the money to spend (in theory!). If Leeds aren't really interested for that money and you're looking at half that kind of figure then Aaronson simply for the value proposition. But I don't think I'd want any of the players they'd let go of.

This seems to be lost on some. We all have players we'd prefer to see play, and have made that known, but there's probably 3 players this season, and we're only 3 games in, that haven't had an absolute shitter in those games. Ironically, Faes, for all the shit he gets, is probably the only player that's done his job well enough so far along with Monga. And neither of those have played 270 minutes, so even those 2 haven't seen the pitch for the duration. We had many saying Nelson and Okoli should pair up. After the Wednesday game many said forget Okoli. But Nelson HAS to start. He does, and he was wank. The right minded will say that these things happen, soak it up, learn and move on, but some are writing players off after a bad game. Whoever you pick right now to play has either already had a shit performance in this very early stage of the season OR have got history of it in seasons past. Aside from Monga really of anyone to see a decent number of minutes.
