  1. Monga is just a different level
  2. Played for them too
  3. Really need to start seeing something from him soon, obviously injury’s haven’t helped but if you’re good enough you find a way. Hopefully starts and does well tonight
  4. If we lose him to West Ham that will piss me off
  5. Has to go, doesn't suit the system Offers nothing in the ball and he’s defending does not make up the gap to ever justify his spot. If we can even get at least 12 million I’d sell
  6. I’d rather have no striker than Daka, we can get in literally anyone who can do what he does. Run beyond, give the ball away, put the ball into orbit and smile (doesn't even do that anymore)
  7. Absolutely correct, but he does give his best and has been our best despite the attitude he gives, so if I was him I’d react exactly how he did on Sunday I think it’s best for both party’s for him to move on, but I don’t back this club to replace him with anyone better. He is a top championship CB
  8. People can’t accept that he’s been our best defender since he joined
  9. Ricky if played in the middle from the start is an 8 not holding. We have to bring someone of real quality in if Winks goes ( dont think we will/can) and we have nobody near his level on the ball. The game on Sunday really showed just how desperate we are for quality there. Last time we won the championship we had a midfield 4 of KDH, Ndidi, Winks and Ric. We’re currently nowhere near that level and I don’t trust what we have at all if Winks goes. Wednesday pressed our midfield fairly well first half and we couldn’t cope at all, gave it away all the time, useless. We need players who are good enough to play through that and Winks was the only one.
  10. Didn’t acknowledge the fans when he went to warm up and didn’t clap at all after the game and went straight down the tunnel after his interview with sky. Looked miserable as well, recon he’s gone
  11. Calvin Bassey and Nelson at the back is fun

    Daka

More hope of Top playing in the NBA than this guy doing anything this season
  13. Yeah exactly, I’m glad you said that as it just demonstrates the point further, it’s so unique to the person. And our opinions will never reflect those opinions of fans of their actual club. Spurs is another one, I think what Levy has done there is unbelievable ( I was taken to hospitality by a spurs supporting mate, loads of free pints at half time and it’s like terminal 5 in there) but they hate him. It is modern football though and I do prefer a Palace away end everyday. What grounds do you like I’d be interested to know.
  14. Yeah I have impressions but they’re not at all what their own clubs fans would think. For example every time I do United away I think what an amazing club, you feel the history there all over the stadium. Holy Trinity, Munich Tunnel, it’s a proper club. But their own fans think they’re shocking. Where as if I do Brentford or Bournemouth away, I think village club, crap stadium, won nothing, boring fans, modern football, and don't really respect them. But all of that is not reflecting on pitch performance at all nor what their own fans would think. So I guess everyone’s perception of someone else’s club is just formed by their personal experience of them, which will not reflect at all how their own supporters would view them.
  15. I don’t think anyone cares just as I don’t care at all about any other club
  16. No disrespect against Lord Ayew’s name please
  17. I never want to see Daka again
  18. I actually liked the coverage of Enzo from him. Yes it’s biased but at least it’s someone else reporting on us other than the usual and he did offer interesting insights into the club and Enzo. Happy if he carries on, it’s better than Fryatt
  19. Really hope he doesn’t have a release clause as he’s a proven prem player and we could get 15 for him I’m sure
  20. I recon it’s because they’ve forecast our operating costs for the year to be around level with our revenue even with parachute payments. We don’t seem to cut staff etc when we’re relegated ( which I like) even though our revenue will drop significantly this year which will make everything tight.
  21. He’s going to be working his balls off here. Massive opportunity for him to catapult himself with a promotion onto the football stage and he evidently wants it. Nice to see hunger coming to the club. Hopefully the scale of this opportunity for him means that he’ll be ruthless in culling those that don’t want to be here, or who’s attitudes stink. Only issue is when managers are very much under pressure, which he is to get this right, they don’t usually trust youth too much.
  22. Yeah very much agree, there’s a real fine balance with possession football and it just looking boring on the eye. The fact he looks not to be to wedded to it is a very good thing. As long as he’s adaptable, integrating all of our youth consistently, gets a squad competing for promotion and playing for the badge we’re all happy. ( hard task but we have top championship players )
  23. Biggest positive i see is that we have a squad that largely suits the style he would like to play. He will also play the style of football this squad wants to play, as post Enzo it’s evident most are wedded to that style of football and believe they’re good enough.
  24. Hope he likes dickheads as we’ve got plenty
  25. Pints in O’Neill’s first game of the season
