Page deserves a home game after winning an award

Enjoy watching a bunch of champions league players doing a semi lap of honour as they are on their to league one with or without a points deduction. Unfortunately Jordan James shouldn’t be playing this, he was limping after 60 minutes on Tuesday and risks further injury playing 90 minutes for a tough dead rubber match (for us, not milwall) only a couple of days after he last played. He’ll probably want to play, so I can see him being given the last twenty minutes. It’s nice to think he might have changed the result by staying on, on Tuesday but he would probably have struggled to keep up with the pass of the game. Hull were poor though, so he might have made a difference. i honestly don’t think we’ve got 11 senior players who would stand up and say that they are committed to staying at the club and hauling us out of League one at the first attempt. So it’s hard to pick a team based on passion for the club without throwing in some players who have zero first team minutes against a high flying milwall team who have to win this game to have a chance of automatic promotion. Although it was a must win game for Hull against us on Tuesday. actually Louis Page must play after winning an award, he deserves a home game after that. He might be off in the summer though but he’d probably be loaned to a league one club if he goes, so he might stay here for at least a season. Unless he rightly doesnt think he’ll get picked over experience again

I don’t go a lot but the people I was sat next to were booing and giving the board and players abuse during the match. They were all glumly talking about how they’d all be their on Friday anyway…

Rowett said something about only playing the players who want to play and they were free to ask him not to pick them. Could be that’s what happened to some of the players. Could just be protecting the youth too

Stadium wasn’t that full and that was a good few rounds of back the club not the board type of chants. Lots of loud booing when Hull scored. You can see why Hull are on a bad run, we had a lot of opportunities with a few men in the box which Hull weren’t dealing with but we failed to make anything off, despite our supposedly better quality players. Even Winksy made some forward runs into space instead of constant passing sideways and backwards, the high intensity go us into good positions for Mav and Daka to fall over and stay down for five minutes. Mav looked tired despite only coming on in the second half. I was torn about clapping the team, as they did seem to be putting in more effort than usual at times. But Hill were there for the taking.
