Leicester vs Peterborough United - Pre-Season
trooky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Nah, don't think he would even get 11 goals, he isn't mentally strong enough to be the main man. Agree Ayew isn't a 9, but if we're not selling him I would rather him play down the middle than take minutes from Monga, Alves, Mavididi, Fatawu or any other wide forward. -

I was posting about our current squad without additions. Currently he's our best option at 9. -

A season in the Premier League is bleak, but even the current squad without reinforcement in the Championship we have every reason to be positive. We have fantastic depth on the wings and 10 with Mavididi, Bilal, Fatawu, Monga, Alves, Mcateer, Nelson and Okoli will be among the best CB pairing in the league, fullbacks and midfield are. Also strong in the championship. Strikers are our weakest area but love him or hate him Ayew will do a good job in the Championship as a 9. The unknown, is which players we lose and if we receive an embargo or points deduction but I'm still very positive. -

Nelson, Monga and Alves are ready. Aluko could feature in the squad but the others aren't ready. We're not going to fill the first team full of 16 year olds. -
I'm not saying no to anyone, I just couldn't care less who we appoint under Rudkin and Top.
-
Yes my mistake I read the dates wrong, it's hard to get enthused about anything at the moment when we're shopping at Poundlands bargain buckets. With 5 manager in last 26 months, we need stability and it's crucial we pick the right man. Unfortunately it's down to Rudkin and Top againðŸ˜
-
Couldn't care less about either but what has Ralf done since Southampton? He managed Wolfsburg for 4 months and kept them up after being in the relegation zone, but why was he released a few week ago if he's all that?
-
Really😂
-
No, they should make a statement
-
Since when have posts on here been an official source of communication from the club? Media oulets are just full of speculation. I've not seen any official communication on the club website explaining the above, we're in limbo.
-
Still can't believe we heard nothing from the club, the whole situation is bizarre and no way to run a football club.
-
Last thing we need is an ally for Rudkin, he'll be here for ever then.
-
Do we think we'll miraculously get and an announcement from the club in July 1st, or we'll still be in the dark?

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
trooky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yes its an even more hollow fictory when you consider they placed their trust in Cooper and then RVN to keep us in the PL and wasted so much money on Skipp. In hindsight they should have taken the deductions so we could start next season in the EFL without a potential penalty. -

We had the 7th highest PL wage bill the season we were relegated under Rodgers, but I'm certain we didn't have the 7th highest football generated revenue. -
If they're happy with him, they would have spoken to him. I genuinely believe the reports in the press are correct and Ruud has been left hanging in the hope he walks. Except the strategy hasn't worked and the club's going to have about 30 days in July to recruit a manager and players before the season Starts 8th August. The whole situation is an embarrassing farce, our incompetent board have really excelled this time. All they need now to reach a new low is an EFL transfer embargo, and having to keep and unmotivated Ruud because they can't afford to replace him. 😞
-
Maresca was in place 16th June, that isn't going to happen this time. The season starts on 8th August, assuming we get the new man 1st July, he'll have 38 days as a pre-season. The boards has played a blinder this time.
-
We need to sack our manager before we appoint a new one and that isn't going to happen unless the board start talking to RVN. What a ****ing farce.
-
The season will have started before we hear anything from the board
-
It's an absolute disgrace we've had no communication from the club to the fans or manager since relegation. It appears they're hoping Ruud will walk without compensation if they don't talk to him. The whole thing is very unprofessional and extremely childish. They have to sell-up and go, so we can replace the incompetent leadership they've put in place.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
trooky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's not going to quit, if he even had an incline of quitting that's now gone with the club ignoring him this way. If I was him I would hold out for every penny he can screw the club for because Rudkin and Top are a disgrace. -
His contract expiring and leaving the club
-
Monga and Evans are being the chance to be integrated. If the others are there because of injuries, in recent history Leicester has demonstrated a path from the youth team to the first team if your good enough
-
Because they're getting more first team game time in the PL than most 15 or 16 year olds
-
No it wouldn't
