Just listened to it back incase I was being overly dramatic but the other guy asked is this the best Leicester have been all season and that we don’t look as vulnerable as we did earlier in the season. Elek goes straight into how we’ve basically just played rubbish teams

He mentioned we’d played Ipswich and failed to win. Apparently drawing away at 2nd is now no longer a good result! I remember him saying at the start of the season something along the lines he couldn’t see what the plan/tactics were. He just has no time for us which I guess fair enough but it’s funny to listen to.

Elek banging on about how we haven’t played anyone decent not being funny but there’s probably 5 max good sides in the league. Who exactly does he think Southampton have been playing? They seem to play QPR & Rotherham on rotation

Anyone else been listening to the NTT20 podcast? You can tell that George Elek just wants us out of this league all season it feels like anything positive he’s said about us has been through gritted teeth. Latest podcast said nothing remotely complimentary about us just that we’d played weak opposition. Which I guess is true, but can only beat who’s in front of you. The other guy always seems very fair though

Never really got a run in the side so now is his chance. Liked what I saw. He also looked buzzing after every goal

He’s very comfortable on the ball, looked good in tight spaces playing it quickly. Definitely better in that 8 position. After seeing him today I’m confident he’ll be okay whilst Ndidi is away.

Akgun definitely has something about him. Not saying he was fantastic or anything but tidy enough. Casadei did pick up 2nd half but he just looks like he’s struggling

I know and you’re completely right but look at who they signed. There has to be a right mix.

On Burnley their transfer window looks to have been quite a disaster. Also seems like a few of their more key players from last season aren’t featuring now? Benson has completely disappeared. Trafford from what I’ve read has been awful. I’d back us hopefully to be a bit smarter in the transfer window. Burnley signed loads of unproven players from weak leagues ( I realise this isn’t always a bad thing as there are gems out there)

He deserves so much credit for how quickly he got us playing his style. Everyone always points out how strong a squad we’ve got so we should be up the top (which is true) but what about Southampton & Leeds who were a mess at the start? Even now Leeds fans are turning on Farke. Southampton fans were booing during our game with them. I don’t think people on the outside realise just how rotten we’d become. We could’ve easily kept on falling. Like people have pointed out before he’s probably saved the careers of Ricardo & Justin to some extent. What he’s done with Ndidi has been brilliant. Winks said he’s probably the best manager he’s worker under. To think Scott Parker’s name was being mentioned

Yeah the pressure on Leeds going into games is now enormous. Ipswich starting to wobble but it’s Southampton who look like capitalising. You could tell a few games ago Leeds looking rattled
