Lost interest long before now, not watched it today, it’s become a chore

Saw Johnny Marr in Paris last Wednesday. Great gig, the Elysees Montmartre is a nice venue too. Johnny in great form and met him afterwards, had a photo with my lad.

In the past 2 weeks I’ve had the opportunity to watch England, LCFC men and women and non league, and I’m just lost with it all. England bores me, I struggle to watch the LCFC sides and non league you go down Wednesday night and half the players aren’t there come Saturday!

That crowd is sparse to say the least.

They gave the gate as 1404 v Tottenham which I think must have included players, staff, officials, stewards, and catering.There was never 1400 in the ground! I think they are counting season ticket holders regardless of whether they show up or not.

I dare say the money from Sky is more than the income from gate receipts for most clubs, think this will become the norm sadly.

Must admit I’m finding it difficult to stay interested now with the game in general, not sure if it’s age thing, but most matches are poor and the atmosphere worse. The powers that be have slowly killed the game, VAR, cup replays for small teams, ticket prices and revamped European formats. I don’t necessarily think the atmosphere at Leicester is better anywhere else than maybe Palace who seem to have nailed it. Everywhere you go it seems to be the same flat experience.

More like Oliver Kip, he makes me tired watching him and looks asleep.

Honestly rather have Birch up front than Ayew, Daka, Carranza.
