Personally don’t rate Mouchon, Hlin, Chossonotte or Swaby, poor signings, whether those at the club are of the same thinking as me, who knows, as far as I’m aware it’s only Missy who is injured. Mouchon is perhaps a little harsh given her injury but she didn’t look anywhere near the level expected in the first few games she had. The biggest concern for me is in losing Howard and Mace, we’ve taken away some beasts physically, I lost count the amount of times United won the ball back yesterday.

The home form will be key, I don’t see them doing much on the road again, in fact I’d go as far as saying they could duplicate last season and go without a win on their travels. The 7 month gap between Pearce and Billiard will have repercussions, late with everything, signing players, sacking managers, securing better deals to retain players, then it’s compounded by selling Mace. I do feel that the next window will see some movement, probably the likes of Chossonotte linking back up with Miquel if she gets back into work. Zero ambition from the club though, it’s almost a free pass to stay in the WSL this season, just win that play off.
