Need an easy end to the season. Will probably be a dogfight down there, and our record of the last 10/15 games of seasons isn’t great.

Questions to be asked at manager interviews

Do you have an annoying little clap that you do, even when you see something shit? -
Yesterday he showed that he can play as a winger too. Although to me, he’s better as a cam, from the small clips I’ve seen of him.
-
Harry Winks one should be an easy fix. Someone will think of something. Not sure about Stephy's though.
-
Probably already been said but if he don’t want to be here/he’d rather be somewhere else, he can piss off.

Eggcellent thread. Really cracking me up.

Swear he’s a Watford fan… because of the moment that we never speak of.

Got offered a ST… none in the section so plan on staying as a member and fighting it out to get my hands on one of those 40 tickets each week. All because the club refuse to expand the section.

Man City can do it but we can’t 🤦♂️

Safe standing - time to act

“We want safe standing” banner first game of next season 😉 -
Footballs off and darts are on after that 1st half.

Season Ticket - New - Successful or Not?
niyaminski replied to StanSP's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Successful but will only get if in the singing section which looks unlikely. -
Pretty simple solution; expand the section. Not difficult to expand a black box on a website.
-
So to confirm.. there’s been no updates from the club as to any sort of development of the singing section for the 23/24 season? Feels like they owe UFS at least a bit of communication after the way the players and manager showed their appreciation for the corner in the last few weeks.

I understand what you’re saying but.. - i don’t have a ST myself. - I’m not sure how many seats would be allocated for STs, however my guess would be a large majority would be for corporate guests. - The ground barely gets sold out (2 games this season: Cov and Blackburn). - The club refuse to put games on general sale, so chances are there will be the same demand as there currently is. - Safe standing would improve the fan participation, create a wall of noise in the Kop (something we desperately need) and help urge the team on to amass as many points as they possibly can - you saw what the singing section meant to them in the last few games of the season. - it would also be 100x cheaper than the redevelopment. Im not denying we need a the expansion, we do. All I’m saying is that Safe Standing, to me as a match going fan, would add more to my experience then building a stand for corporate bodies.

The club really need to make the whole of SK1 known as the singing section, as supposed to the little box they draw out. I'm on 50+ points as a member and will only sit in the section. Can't have it being ST holders only in there, as many on here have said.

For all our clubs faults, if this comes down to a vote, they will vote against it, and I'm sure most other clubs would aswell. We support Leicester City. We'll play our home games in Leicester. End of.

I mean I’m just saying my opinion - what forums are for no? I never said “make it pro”. I said play for LCFC. Over the last 6 years, we’ve had about 7 academy players consistently play for our first team. That’s an average of just over one academy player per year coming through. And for those referencing City/United, I understand what you’re saying but our academy doesn’t have a pull like theirs. They can attract players from all over Europe and South America simply because of the size of their club. -

Don’t want to dampen the mood on here but having a good youth team that actually wins stuff doesn’t mean a lot. Maximum 2 of these players (being generous) will even play for the club at a senior level. Academies build their team around one or two players that coaches believe can make it to play senior football. As supposed to building a good ‘team’. But champions again ole ole!! -
Everyone’s saying the atmosphere was shit or whatever. Where I was in the singing section, it was great. No one stopped singing. Lad next to us came with an inflatable dinosaur and balloons and what have you. First trophy lift that I’ve been old enough to properly celebrate (FA Cup COVID time and PL I was a bit too young to go out in the city afterwards for 🍺) Probably one of the best days of my life.

Good player BUT if he doesn’t want to be here, he can **** off. Should be a privilege wearing the shirt, not a chore, for every age group. -
Wow. And for the sharky one, us sitting in sk1 need to do anything (in terms of waving flags or holding sheets or whatever) or will it just be something thrown over us (like the grey wys one from last season)? 🦊

Game was sold out first priority point bracket. So many people are missing out on seeing it in person. I recon they'll have one on the Sunday IF it happens. And I'm sure there will be a decent turnout.

If they had a substantial amount of game time this season, skipping a loan and having them as 'fringe' players next season would've been a greater possibility. But they haven't had any game time this season, so a loan in needed. Also, what I found interesting was that Will Alves was in the squad's promotion pictures, and Sammy weren't. Funny as we (or at least I) generally think of Sammy as a more developed player compared to Alves, closer to first team football.
