  1. I think this answers my question about how the tequila is going.
  2. So unbelievable I looked up the story, and for clarity it was NOT the school, but a school photo company who had taken a number of photos and for some reason chose to offer a choice of 2 for this class, apparently one with the disabled kids in and one without. What a bizarre thing to do.
  3. Yes I agree, they do matter even when they have little or no intention of putting them in place, or indeed chance of being in power to do so. It is definitely time for a change of government. Personally I hope the Conservative party can move back to the centre right. Looks like the opposite is more likely at the moment. I hope at least under a Labour government reforms that need to happen in the NHS, social care etc. can start perhaps with a bit more of a shared objective.
  4. I’m wearing my Leicester top, we are winning. That is all.
  5. There is no plan, it’s all just soundbites aimed at a select group of ignorant arseholes. Seems to be how politics works these days. They can say what they like aided by social media algorithms - those they are targeting will see it and be supportive, and those people who get angry were never going to vote for them at the coming election anyway, me included.
  6. No scientific instrument has yet been invented with which to calibrate the precise low point of Liz Truss’s still ongoing promotional book tour, but the standout candidate, at this point, must surely be the moment she accused a supermarket lettuce of being “part of what I call the London elite”. ****ing elite lettuce, messing with our prime ministers. BAN THE LETTUCE!
  7. Ha, I think you’re confusing the old story with the new one. We don’t know who was demanding money this time! It adds to the mystery! still that Angela Rayner almost probably certainly might have ticked the wrong box on a tax form with zero impact on her tax bill so let’s focus on the important issues shall we?
  8. She is (to use a phrase someone used a few years ago to describe her) thick as mince, however I don't agree at all on the "she was not elected" nonsense. She was chosen as leader of the governing party, and under our political system that is as elected as any Prime Minister is. Whether that happens before an election, after or in the middle of it is irrelevant.
  9. No, she is talking about her "it wasn't my fault I was useless" narrative which says Blair gave too much power to unelected bureaucrats like the BoE to make decision based on knowledge and insight instead of leaving it to elected MPs who obviously know better and that is why she crashed the economy. Or something.
  10. I find it extremely discriminatory to say to one adult they can legally do something another they cannot based purely on age. Also not sure it would stand up in court.
  11. It is heartbreaking. All you can do is remember the great life you gave him, and how much he gave you in return. That is a wonderful thing. It will get easier, but I still miss dogs I lost 25 years ago. Personally I am always of the view that if you love having a dog in your life and you can offer a home then there are rescue dogs who need you.
  12. Ooh it would be an interesting legal debate on whether breathing is intentional or not.
  13. I’ve just woken up down here. Pffff.
  14. Yes exactly. I guess a little more flavour than a bog standard Aussie Lager.
  15. Was in Melbourne last week. Had a couple of cans of Melbourne bitter. Not great, apparently popular with Hipster types. Also not really a bitter.
  16. Never had anything else head branded that I can recall.
  17. If it wasn't for the money and PSR crap it would almost be more fun staying in this league and rebuilding with youth.
  18. This is like me saying I am a long term devotee of Head bags cos I had one in the 80s like everyone else.
  19. They would likely be either American or from the MIddle East, and have no useful attributes.
