He definitely isn't. They are not proactive but reactive in this area... There was definitely interest in some at the beginning of the window... Some fell by the wayside as no action taken by the club because Cooper / Rudkin wanted to keep them "just in case" but they wouldn't have been used due to lack of experience. A good crop of players now at the right aged for decent loans so interest arrives... Agents will be looking for others especially where they know the player won't play (Cannon)

Huth has done nothing and does nothing except go and watch those on loan. Old boys job. He's had an easy ride so far but now there's a lot of travelling. Loan offers come in (some are drummed up by agents touting)... Players and their agents are notified, player talks to clubs and decides, Rudkin negotiates payments, lawyer's deal with contracts, player signs.

Time will tell if it has been a good or bad window. Probably overpaid for some and didn't get rid of the dross so leaking money and previous bad buys. The great news is the club finally realised they need to send the young players out on loan to develop them and give them some value, either as players or to sell. It's a shame it's so late though... Probably lost some offers on the way but then some more would have come in as teams become desperate to fill a gap. I'm guessing Alves will get the odd 10-15 mins in the Prem and start in some cup games which is why he hasn't gone. Nelson gone to championship which is great, Oxford are on the up and they will hopefully survive.. They've been in for him for some time so makes sense rather than a last ditch bid. Not sure about Braybrooke's.. could be difficult for him up there... And those surfaces!!! Okoli hasn't looked great, definitely overpaid for him as he will be 4th in line, but nobody really has looked fantastic as there doesn't seem to be a style of play... perhaps it's coming??

Yes and No, Some championship clubs fell by the wayside for some of the lads but then some others have probably come in because they haven't managed to find somone or they have injuries or someone has suddenly left

Rudkin now accepting requests for loans but way too late in the window... Rudkin passes on to player/players agent... player decides... negotiate... deal done (or not..then move to the next...)

Seems to be the way the club was working for all the youth prospects then, suddenly, they've decided most of those prospects can go out on loan.... why wait until now???

Sometimes it isn't about the "best" team but the best team for you... depends on what clubs are offering, are you backup to someone, in for someone who's injured etc. and even then the club have to agree to it (including terms). Sammy obvioulsy thought this was his best option out of those that were interested. Sadly for Sammy he had a bad injury with setbacks on his recovery so was out of the game when he really needed to get some experience. He needs to push on with games to get experience so we can use him when he comes back.

Shame he didn't actually cost this to buy him.
