For a moment I read that as "I did that trek on acid" 😂 😂 i bet the scoreline made you think you were. But yes you had one or nine reasons to be happy you made that trip.
-
Agree.....the only way a boycott works is if everyone.....and I mean EVERYONE does it. A handful here and there are, as you say, just replaced by others.
-
I don't disagree with you but to do away with season tickets for clubs like ours would be suicide surely. Ok man city and arsenal could possibly fill their ground with tourists but how are we (and clubs like wolves, Southampton, Ipswich, forest etc etc) going to attract 30,000 non leicester based tourists every other week? I agree clubs want more money and are greedy but can't see that model working for them apart from the big 6

Do you more harm than the coke they are looking for, that biltong will, with the fat and additives 😂......although granted it won't make you behave as badly 😂
-
No it wasn't them, they weren't around that late in the game. But it seems there are a few like that

Was in sk1 section yesterday. What doesn't help the atmosphere is people who aren't invested. I kid you not, two lads in front of me yesterday turned up about 3:13. Proceeded to talk to each other, wave at their mates, watch little of the game and record each other on their phone "having a wild time" whenever a song went up. Villa scored their first goal and they disappeared straight after. Came back up even more pissed about 55 mins, made a few more phone vids of each other, villa scored 2nd goal and they left. Didn't see them again. Seriously I know it's a free country and all that and what you do with your money is your business but 51 quid each to watch no more than 30 mins of football. What's the point? And I daresay there were people who wanted a couple of tickets in sk1 together who would have contributed to the atmosphere but couldnt get tickets together.

Make that 3 with me. Should have been szmodics weeks ago ahead of ayew and this fella
-
It might have a chance. I got two for palace as a member. And it's a trek too, not a glamour game so half a chance Im hoping
-
I'm hoping it wasn't just an anomaly then. It was a proper pain in the past as my daughter won't sit separately
-
Just a heads up for members. It used to be a pain in the backside when there were 3 seats together and you only wanted two of them, as the website didn't allow you to leave a single seat, meaning you couldn't always get tickets where you wanted them. Credit where it's due, this seems to have been changed as I bought 2 from a block of 3 today for Bournemouth, leaving a single seat, with no issues.
-
It's easy to relocate if you call the ticket office. I've had no problems the couple of times I wanted to. That said, I imagine that tonight you will just be able to sit more or less where you want . There will be thousands of empty seats
-
This is a fair point. At this stage of the competition prem and championship teams will likely field mainly fringe or reserve players anyway so little impact on first teamers

You haven't seen my wedding pictures !!

Fair.

I take your point....but.......as a fan that celebration isn't the same after 3 or 4 mins of deliberating as it is in the moment. If you want cold hard accuracy it works most of the time. If you want passion and natural celebration, I don't think it does

I guess the moral of the story is to always meet in person and pay nothing until the tickets are in your hand. Sad state of affairs and lots will be genuine but I wouldn't trust buying them over the internet without meeting. -
I stand corrected.....for the third time 😂 Anyone else want to tell me how wrong I was? Fire away 😂 Still think pleats a c0ck though
-
David pleat when he used to commentate for itv used to pronounce Julian Joachim's name as jo-ay-kim. I always did think he was a c0ck!
-
And I thought it was just Taylor swift concerts where ticketless fans hung around outside just to feel part of it...... For the record I have a teenage daughter who educated me on such matters rather than me just Googling Taylor swift ......honest 😂

I think any that come back on sale are only available to the bracket it originally sold out at -
I understand this. I feel like that from time to time, that's it's too sterile and the entertainment and celebrations are forced somewhat......but then you get the odd moments like the mavididi equaliser at chelsea or preston away that take you back in time and make it feel like it used to feel when we fell in love with leicester city. Unrehearsed, natural, spontaneous joy....and that's why I keep coming back, waiting for those moments. Let's face it the game has changed beyond recognition for a lot of us....it isn't crammed into pen 2, fag smoke in the air, pay on the day, paper storms and crowd surges anymore with a choice of pie or Bovril as refreshments. A lot of us want the current experience to be like that and the fact is it never will be again, even with the good work done by ufs and the people in sk1 to generate some sort of atmosphere. I don't like the Americanisation and music etc but for a lot of young ones it is the norm. Doubt it will stop and most clubs will be doing similar stuff.
-
Ha ha. I've never won one yet. Yeah that's your win for this 3 season period 😂
-
One day......maybe..... possibly.,......fingers crossed......with a bit of luck......hopefully......i might be successful in a members ballot 😂
