Good work. It looked the dogs testes on tv. Match of the day didnt do it justice, giving it all of 1.5 seconds

I absolutely agree. Theres also the fact he has done a "real" job and lived in the real world for a few years. Whilst that doesn't equate to talent, players that have experienced the real world tend to have an edge and a bit of character ...vinnie jones, Stuart Pearce . Its rare these days.

Chelsea (H) 23rd November - Pre-match Thread
rugbyblue replied to Trav Le Bleu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Im not going and it looks like im not alone. Looked at ticket sales. Far more available than i would have expected in the past. West ham is even worse. Large sections are unsold. I kind of hope it stays that way. We might have several thousand more members than there are seats available but most aren't willing to pay the asking price . This has to send out a message regarding the extortionate pricing. It is putting off the vast majority of members who have to pay game by game . -

Generally though, i prefer it when footballers have two working legs 😂 -
Yes they did. I bought my very first city shirt in there in 91 or 92. I think i collected tickets in there too, if i recall. In those days it was only the big ties that were all ticket (arsenal in the league cup, f*rest in the zenith data cup.....yes a game in that comp was all ticket ).
-
It should be walkers forever and ever and ever 😂
-
Man utd in the cup was an example. 42-48 if memory serves. I know the simple answer is dont buy them if you dont like it, and i know its still cheaper than home tickets its just the principle. It stinks. Its shameless. Its saying blatantly we dont care , we want to charge you as much as possible. Ffs 50p. If you left a 50p tip for a waiter they would tell u to keep it
-
Nice reduction for seniors and u22. They may as well have just said fck you.....we have to make a deduction so we are going to shamelessly take the p1ss by deducting 50p. What you gonna do about it plebs?

Ok ok all bets are off. You win

Not a shrine as such but my daughters bedroom has surprised and pleased me. Alongside pop stars she has a dishonesty flag, shirt that must be on display and not in a wardrobe and a number of clappers (we don't use them to clap but we always take one to use as a poster). She also has a box where match tickets are kept along with badges which we buy at any away game we attend . Its great she shares my interest in city, especially as we live in Cov city country and she flies the flag for us. It reminds me of my city obsession as a kid. It also makes me a little sad as i suspect hers is the last generation that will get that bug from regularly attending games with her dad. The sickening prices are pricing out young people and families

Safe Standing at the King Power Stadium
rugbyblue replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Good news for a change !! Well done the trust and ufs for pushing the club on this. Whilst i would love a full standing end of 7000 and Southampton's looks the business, do we have 7000 that want to stand? This isn't me being a downer, im genuinely asking are there currently 7000 that stand in sk1, g1, L1 and P blocks? Im assuming this has been surveyed and taken into account? Id rather have a solid block of standers in say, sk1 and g1 rather than a whole end where some will still sit. That would make no sense. Also im assuming some tickets will be set aside for members in the standing area, like they currently do in the singing section? Anyone....well done again. Looking forward to it getting done.....for the cat c games i attend..(I've drawn the line at the prices for cat a and b games ) -
Give with one hand, take with the other . I might have had crap trainers but i did have a decent haircut . Swings and roundabouts 😂
-
Its when your mum started dragging you to bacon's for new shoes that reality set in....... No mum we can't get them from there . Ill be bullied for the rest of my schooldays. She didn't listen 😂

Anything below the credibility of puma and youd get battered at our school . God help you if you had gola's. Your life was ruined!
-
I did the same for forest. I posted before .....i got to checkout and saw 82 quid and just thought "what the fck am i doing". I think its kicking in with more people now the season is well underway. Those that were excited for start of season maybe bought tickets early on but as the games come thick and fast they just think i can't do this every other week and who can blame them. We all love football but when the cost of it starts to eat into trip money or clothes money or whatever money that is earmarked for other things its time to say it really is only football

I like linekers presenting style and dad jokes i have to admit. And its nice as a Leicester fan to see us being "shouted out" by lineker on a regular basis . For me though, and some will disagree, im not a fan of the analysis. Its over analysed in minute detail. I find it boring . For me, a revamp showing more of the games and less slobber from ex players would be very welcome. Plus alex scott..she doesn't have to say anything.......seriously.....im happy just looking 😂
-
Tommy wright....my first hero.....oooh tommy Wright , skin him tommy etc....didn't really shape the club, more a personal choice Brian Little ....some may sneer but he changed something when he arrived and things were on the up. Start of a good period for us.....my favourite era as a fan too ....maybe it was youth, terraces i dont know....but i was never more invested 91-94 Vardy.....enough said Ranieri.....ditto
-
Agree hes a good presenter and leicester lad. Couldnt give a toss about his views. We are all different. But good as he is, he can't beat the best intro to a live match .......des lynam before england v germany in euro 96 semis......."good evening , you might have heard theres a game on tonight".
-
His dad had a stall on Leicester Market you know
-
Whats wrong with that? Girls aloud (minus the ginger one) are good time fillers 😂

Whilst some songs may be a bit cringy, surely some noise is better than none? We moan about no songs and then when songs are sung, the songs arent credible enough? What is it that people want? Lets be honest, most clubs aren't "by far the greatest team the world has ever seen" but most sing it. Enzo never went to buy a lamborghini, but that was sung loud and often. What's credible? A step back in time? Your going home in a leicester ambulance? Your gonna get your fckin heads kicked in? Noise is noise....
