  1. Agree. There may well be another 15-20k people out there who "follow the city". Whether or not many of them are prepared to fork out 50 quid plus for a ticket every other week and an odd midweek, is an entirely different matter
  2. Yeah I have. It seems there has been an error with the pricing which hasn't been corrected. It says £55 for my usual block. I'll just wait til they get i.t. to correct it
  3. No sadly. Bit of a pisser. I reckon members got a bit lucky with palace and Southampton. I reckon maybe because they are both a mission to get to.....but who knows. Fingers crossed for the united ballot........which no doubt I'll lose again. 😂
  4. Would someone mind showing/telling whats left, ahead of tomorrow. Thanks
  5. I've written this one off. More chance of flying to the moon I reckon
  6. Football or no football, it's always best to avoid the Saff 🤣. There used to be 3 or 4 car parks in waste ground behind the hospital and around or just off jarrom street for 5 or 6 quid. I'd be surprised if they weren't still there. Maybe someone else can confirm. I come from Out of town these days and park way down aylestone road when I have been
  7. I'm not surprised games aren't selling out fast. Tickets are at a level now where people are prepared to say no. I am anyway. I went to villa which was cat b and begrudged paying what I did. I just went to buy tickets for the forest game and it was £82.50 for me and young un and I thought what am i doing. I couldn't bring myself to pay it. In excess of £50 for my ticket. Just not doing it. And there was a time when I wouldnt have even considered missing a game against forest. It's not so much I can't afford it, although I admit it isnt easy and would eat into money for other things I like to do...for me it's just a mental thing. Over 50 quid (72 in some areas) for one game of football. It might be for some, but for me it just isn't worth it. I've been going away more regularly past two seasons and tickets cost far less (granted they are capped) To put into perspective, and I've said this in another thread, i can go away for 3 quid more than a home game, that's with travel, which I could probably reduce further with a bit more effort, and I get a full day, "new" ground and better atmosphere. I'm just going to go away when I can get a ticket rather than predominantly home and a few away like in years gone by. I also take some comfort from the fact that having priced me out, more or less, Leicester city aren't getting my money if I go away games. Im assuming it just goes to the home club (correct me if I'm wrong) who no doubt overcharge their own fans but for me it's a f*#k you to the club. A little win I suppose.
  8. Hopefully. Youth prices might make them sell quicker though. Southampton took the piss with theirs
  9. Second half season tickets were great. Didn't have to leave the pub til 345. 🤣 Agree about the bundles though. Decent value.
  10. Strider for manager! Impressive dedication in all fairness 👍
  11. We're Leicester city, we'll spend what we want. Best chant of the day. Got a laugh out of me anyway
  12. It's ticked off my list but wouldn't go back I don't think. That said I've been to Barnsley 3 times after being mugged for my fags by burly grown men as a 16 year old the first time, so never say never 🤣. Terrible journey, terrible view. Atmosphere was ok ish I thought. Didn't help that the blocks were separated by large walk ways. Each block a bit disconnected from each other I thought.
  13. Not a fan of Cooper's set up and defensive mindedness. A third goal at 2-1 would have likely killed the game. To go ultra defensive invited pressure which cost us in the end. Oh and whoever designed and decided to install the low hanging TV gantry, you owe me £15. Half the price for half the view!🤣. One and done ground for me this one.
  14. I'm not sure I'd want to advise you to do that. The t&c's say tickets aren't transferable but I guess it's at the discretion of the ticket office. Can't see the problem myself but you know lcfc and tickets..,.there's always something you can't do
  15. Have you tried linking your accounts? You have to when you buy tickets for others. There's an option to link with a family member if they have an account. This is presuming the membership has been processed and he has been given a supporter number
  16. Makes sense. I'm just thankful we can get to a few more aways. Thanks for taking the time to reply 👍👍.
  17. Nice one. It's good members get a chance. I may be wrong but I think it helps that they go on sale same day as all ST. I prefer the aways to be honest. We have a UK map and my young un gets a badge from every ground we visit to stick on the map.
  18. No need for all the panicking 🤣. Got two easily. That's 2 out of 4 aways as a member I've got tickets for now. I'm not complaining at all but any reason for this? Away tickets were like gold dust last season or it just the fact that palace and Southampton aren't glamour games and are a bit of a bitch to get to? Just a side note, it costs me 3 quid more to go away, that's ticket and travel than it does to attend a home game. And I'm sure I could cut travel costs if I shopped around a bit more or decided to drive and split fuel. Shows the ludicrous pricing for home games.
  19. Thanks mate. Appreciated. Hopefully some left at 5
  20. I'm hoping so. Thank you 👍
  21. It would be helpful to members ......and indeed people in lower ST brackets if the club could let us see what's left on the site so we know whether it's worth hanging around our computer at 5pm (or whatever times they go on sale). Fingers crossed for 5pm.
  22. Blocking the view that we've all seen hundred times before and which is rehearsed and standard for almost every game these days. ie players running out shaking hands and all that bollox. Jeez I bet it's full on fighting if someone blocks their view of a throw in, in our own half
  23. I just want cooper to show some ambition. As I see it we are going to concede in this division even if we set up defensively. So why not go for it from the off rather than wait until we are 2 nil down before bringing on our more creative and attacking players. Just have a go man.
  24. I think you are right. I haven't been to an away game i can remember sitting. I'm going palace on Saturday though and I'm at the back so for once it would be better if we all sat down or itll be like watching the game through a letterbox in their away end 😂
  25. Bar about 3 or 4 games I knew I couldn't make I've entered every away ballot for about 2 and a half years. Not won one yet 😂😂
