I should add that's not to say he wasn't a good servant to the club

I was of this opinion too. There arent too many players who have played in the premier league for a period of time that will be in need of a few quid these days

This is true. Little hope of me getting away next season legitimately unless we get Newcastle on a Tuesday night in the league cup!

The system is severely flawed and some ST holders are adding to the problem. I am a member and went to 8 aways last season. I only bought tickets to 3 of those legitimately. The rest were bought from season ticket holders. I accept that sometimes people have last minute change of plans and can't go, so sell their ticket, but undoubtedly lots are buying tickets just for the points then selling them. Double edged sword as I'm grateful I get to go to some aways as a result of these season ticket holders selling but on the flip side it isn't really fair on members or ST holders on low points who want to go away and can't add to their points total because of this

Bang on. Admittedly I've done my stint of pitch invasions.....Oxford 1991 and Newcastle 1992 (I think). I was a teenager at the time and even then I thought "this is a bit pointless"....yes yes i know, so pointless i did it twice!! The point I'm making is they are over rated and probably belong back in the 90s. Give me an atmosphere and celebration in the stands like at Preston all day long.

A rather chubby stone islander tough nut managed to get on though. That was worth it wasn't it! 🙄

Just look at the lad who tried at Chelsea......pathetic 😂😂😂. 6 steps and fell over his own feet.

14 grand!!! Per game!!! F**k me. That's staggering. It's literally throwing money in the bin -
Sod the kits, can players get back to wearing black boots please and not luminous ones!

I'd see a doctor mate if your stools are that colour 😂

I'll chip in a few quid to help Bournemouth with the fee.

😂 Backpass rule only one that stands out. It's only been 30 odd years since then, give them a chance -

The same **** managers players and fans who moaned at and blamed referees for everything and demanded technology be implemented, now do the very same thing at the Var operators. Some people just whine and make excuses. I've ranted enough about var now so I will stop but I really really hate it and it needs to go! -

The refs have too much power????? They are supposed to have power and be in charge of the game. They have always been in charge of the match. That's as it should be. I despise var with a passion and whist refs aren't perfect, In fact some are downright poor, I believe that 99.9% of them are honest, in this country at least (conspiracy theorists- kindly f**k off before you start). I can live with an honest mistake. It's always been a part of the game. As someone said earlier var takes more away from the game than it adds, especially as a match going fan. -
Ha ha ha. I know this feeling. No interest or ability in maths at school but I could look at a football league table and tell you all the permutations for relegation and promotion for all the teams involved

Not the same club set up as here but saw this on the BBC . Fair play. I'm guessing most fans here would reject it too if we had enough sway. As a side note....check out the stands!!! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/c6pyp32n198o -

No var. No tech. Down to ref and linos (yes linos, not assistants) only. Football became the most popular game on the planet without these things. We already moan about lack of atmosphere at games. A goal check and muted cheer after a check only makes it worse. -

I've always said I can live with honest reffing errors. They might hurt at the time but overall they even themselves out over the course of a season. Even though it helped us win the cup I would still do away with it -

Best thing I've heard regarding the premier league for a long time, if it's correct. Get rid. Sucks the joy out of the game
