  1. Bless him, cannot catch a break the poor lad. One to be integrated next season hopefully! Or a loan if we've got enough options.
  2. It does seem like people have blinkered vision. Fatawu's not got the most Big Chances Created by accident. If we could finish then the wingers would look even better, and that goes for Stephy too because off the top of my head I can think of two sitters he's given to Vardy which haven't amounted to anything.
  3. I was at the game and was with someone who supports Leeds and it was strange to both of us how chalk and cheese it was from the first to second halves. From my memory, Abdul didn't get the ball nearly as much 2nd half but when he did, he lost a bit of confidence and Byram got better with a yellow strangely. Another thing to note is Summerville had an unusually quiet game by his standards. Same again would be delightful!
  4. Firpo in terms of defending is tinpot so I'd back Abdul again. If he plays well for 90, we win I believe. He's the difference! Very odd that he dropped off after Byram got booked early in the home fixture.
  5. Fairly certain that's down to the fact "Chilly B" and Shaw are made of glass, dirth of good English LBs of recent years, to the point where they called up a RB (Justin). I'd argue Leicester players are overlooked! Maddison the key example of someone who had to be literally exceptional even to be considered which was bizarre when you consider who GS was picking over him.
  6. It's mad ain't it! Lets just ignore everything we've seen this season to suggest we'll be fine

  8. Does anybody else get hung up on the fact Burnley only lost 3 games last season and we're currently on 5 and will probably end up on 6/7? I know it probably doesn't mean a great deal in terms of translation to the PL as they've been woeful but....THREE games?!?! Pretty mad that!
  9. Think its a Must-not-lose for me! Keep them at arms length, but if we win then its curtains. 12 points ahead of 2nd place at this stage, we cookin!
  10. No it doesn't mate but its almost as if that's the consequence of poor and expensive decision making. The fact we've tried to get more out of clubs is the exact reason players like Praet/Souttar/Ward etc cannot be shifted on! Best to make what we can in terms of fees so we can actually back the current manager than keep players he doesn't want.
  11. I'm not the one demanding we break even on our players when we enter into the Italian market, in fact I'll take what we can get for our boards poor decision making! Wouldn't get the 'arse fella.
  12. Well if that's the plan then we shouldn't have gone into dealings with Italian clubs
  13. Pretty confident he's said he doesn't want to come back, nor is he someone Enzo wants as doesn't suit the system. Literally no other option than to sell
  14. Because we’re only 14 points behind them with a game in hand, beat them Win our game in hand, they lose to Leeds we win our game the gap is down to 5 points! "only 14 points behind" is an unreal statement haha! Where's the self-awareness?
  15. If you look above I said only half an hour ago that I think we'll lose at your place but we're no mugs clearly so just like the home game, it'll be close I feel!
  16. Nobody's got close but the best team in the league's not rocked up yet. It's a must win for Leeds that's for sure!
  17. You're under the assumption they won't drop points unsuspectedly. People were talking about Saints like they were juggernauts and it all can come crashing down. We have something they don't, a big points cushion. I'm not concerned and that's coming from someone who thinks we will probably lose at Elland Rd.
  18. He actually missed out on Inter's last game with a fever. That's what touching down in Leicester will do to a bloke!
  19. I really think you aren't grasping that we played like we did 2nd half by choice, because we're leagues ahead of Wednesday and all the players knew it after that first half. Came out 2nd half and walked around like OAP football because we literally can. When we need to turn it on, I believe we will. I also think there's an element of luring them into a false sense of security where they get a bit more belief on the ball before we break on them in lightning fashion. We could have scored another couple right at the end!
  20. This must be a joke no? It's eerily quiet!
  21. Not sure how this thread got onto Harry Kane but I genuinely hate the bloke. Showed no mercy against us every time he plays and the one time I rooted for him, he ballooned a penalty vs France. Bloke actively tries to make me hate him I swear! Can't wait for him to bottle a title out in Germany, a proper curse him!
  22. Signing someone who is fluid in the front line would prevent the need to sign both a Striker AND a winger imo. Having 4 strikers at the minute is a mess, can't possibly please them all when we only play 1 up top and ideally you want someone cemented in that position in the prem. We know Nacho will go, Vardy maybe sign a 1 year deal but its down to him, and you can't be certain Daka won't have his suitors come the summer again. I agree with the rest though! Definitely need an 8 or two with the way we play, I have my reservations on Yannik in the PL so a CB or two as well if Souttar goes, and someone younger to protect Winks if he gets injured.
  23. As much as many have us have called for him to leave, we didn't sign Sensi so absolutely have to keep him for depth now, that's the reality of going backwards in the window!
  24. Anyone fancy moaning about that? Hang your f*****g heads in shame!
  25. Fairly confident it was a poor photoshop jobby that mate! HA
