  1. I thought the fosse boys was set up for this? I’m just trying to give you hints on how to go about if you feel that strongly! Me, I don’t. First world problem and all that! I actually missed the banner as I was indoors in the box pouring champagne……
  2. Look, listen and learn….
  3. Got a feeling the board will stick with him as we beat QPR 6-2 in the cup. The reality is, the majority of the Championship is of a very poor standard. Ruud will likely bring us back up with the current squad.
  4. Valid, I totally agree…. But my point stands, it was a fantastic feeling winning with the last kick of the game having been 2–0 down at half time. You can’t buy those emotions. If we had battered them 3-0 and played them off the park it would’ve obviously been nice but not the same from an emotional standpoint. Limbs flying everywhere and not forgetting the non stop chanting long after the game had finished with no fan’s leaving early! All I know is, that was a sweet 4 hour drive home! Spurs away being the next best. There’s been some long dark soul searching drive’s this season. Newcastle and Everton sticking out from memory! So yeah, maybe if you were there you’d have fond memories too….
  5. This sums up our fanbase - cowards. Show your feelings in the stadium, protest outside the stadium daily, stop going etc Nope, let’s get a plane to drag a duvet in the sky, that’ll show em! Pathetic…….
  6. The footy was awful but at least he showed fight. Thank you for Southampton away, that’s up there with the best of me LCFC away days!
  7. It’s hilarious reading the first few pages of this thread and the idea Ruud would be a success due to his looks!
  8. It’s been discussed to death on here…Trust me mate, our fan base is a lost cause. The game has changed. You need more like minded fans to get any good chants going en masse. Current folk don’t even know the words to the cringey “ we love you” chant and only sing the wo wo wo bit as that’s what they’re used to banging their clappers along to. We do have some good away ends on occasion but is certainly dwindling. I’ve done my stint over the past 3 decades and a little too old to be “in the boozer” starting chants pregame. I now have a box at the KP and my pregame ritual is taking clients to Konak for a slap up meal. No matter how poor the game is, they always remember the food! If I’m going to sit in a library, I’d rather do it in comfort.
  9. Was the same last season though during our bad spell? He’s definitely a confidence from within player and is probably his worst own enemy. Most sportsmen and women are the same.
  10. Could be wrong but seems to me he’s suffering from a lack of confidence. Tbf Ipswich doubled up on him yesterday but we’ve rarely seen him do his trademark step overs and having a pop at goal this season. I just wished he believed in himself more. We all know he has it in his locker and when he’s on fire he causes mayhem to opposition defenders. Chelsea last season as an example.
  11. I thought the atmosphere was pretty meh yesterday. Songs fading away as quick as being started. Went completely quiet when they went 1up and we only made solid noise after the equaliser. Only other notable loud point was when Vardy got in a tangle with one of theirs. Couldn’t really hear the home support but still much better than ours at home by a country mile. Have we really only got 5 songs now? Depressing. As per usual, people were more vocal to slag the players off at every mistake they made. I nearly got in a scuffle with another city fan cause I dared to clap a shot that went wide. Some absolute cretin in the usual identikit chavy stone island uniform. I’m far from a violent person but was close to putting this guy in Ipswich royal infirmary for the night. I also noticed Vestergaard is back to his old tricks, refusing to clap our supporters. That guys got some deep rooted hate for us ever since Rodger’s days I’m sure. I remember last season after Cov at home first game of the season, Enzo had to stop him from going down the tunnel on the final whistle and made him go back out to the fans. He’s definitely read foxestalk!
  12. The truth!!!
  13. And……… I’m still 100% convinced he’s taking bungs!
  14. Starting with Ward in goal is like starting a F1 race with 3 flat tyres. Has to be hands down our worst ever transfer in our history. We paid good money for him too, double what we paid for Hermansen and probably on a bigger contract than Mads……. The guy has literally stolen a living as a footballer and fair fcuking play to him for getting away with it.
  15. Cooper is a modern day Clough. A very wily old fox. He obviously put Ward in goal against Man Utd to give them a false sense of security for the upcoming match against them in the league. Make it look like we got battered so they’re over confident in the next game. He literally took one for the team to get us 3 points in just over a week, genius!
  16. Rooted to the spot just moving his head from side to side watching the ball. The guy is a complete fraud of a keeper. That ball that just hit the post would’ve gone in had it been on target too.
  17. Make that 4 shots on goal and 3 goals for United. Danny fcukin Ward is back!!!
  18. Man Utd have had 2 shots on goal and scored 2. Yup, Danny Ward is in goal! It’s criminal leaving Iverson on the bench. He’s not the greatest either, but we all saw in our recent relegation season he was light years ahead of Ward.
  19. Ward may not be saving that but at least dive man and try! The amount of goals scored against him where he just stands there rooted to the spot is infuriating. The guys been match fixing, I’m telling you!
  20. Do you have a license to sell alcohol?
  21. Free Colombian marching powder and by force! Where do I sign up?
  22. It’s not rocket science pal. Goals win games. The more you score, the more chance of winning the game. If you don’t think scoring in every game is a good thing, then you’re a fool. Simples…..
  23. I just can’t understand how you can think scoring in every game thus far in arguably the most competitive league in the world is not something to be proud of. Of course it’s not going to do this and that but it’s a fcuking good stat for any team in this league, hence why Man City are the only other team to achieve this. Not hard to understand pal….
