Unfortunately I think majority of these are actually ‘performing’ at their level Winks has clearly got off field issues but have to argue he can make an impact - which pains me to say it It has to be Mavididi as most underperforming/underwhelming for me. He’s shown in the past he has good quality but we are getting nothing out of him. Think he’s been fortunate that we have little quality and depth in those positions which has what’s kept him playing as much as he has - he also comes with star player mentality too which makes the situation even worse, he can’t even wins his individual battles let alone win us the game

Pretty much sums this club up too. Already a tough ask for Rowett, 2 draws so let’s throw a spanner in the works

We know the backline is shit but think we’re too expansive which is what’s going to hurt us. Thomas high up and Ricardo has a freedom to roam. Backline needs better protection and more cover otherwise they’ll hit us on the break

Actually don’t think there was anything wrong with that defending then 👀 Ricardo lost the foot race and Nelson had a man to shut off. CB’s was left exposed and just had to delay. Any of them stepped in it’s an easy pass in on goal for one of the 2 runners. Shit to lose the ball the way we did

Yes definitely, it’s a positive start so hopefully something to build on 💯 Good to finally see a bit of understanding/shape, energy and passion. It has a Pearson-esque feel to it that I can get behind and hope to see it become successful 🙏

It seems that way at the moment That said, I think the club needs to take some of the player power away from them and have a manager that they back. There is a few that are out of contract in the summer so don’t expect every player to buy into him but as long as there is an identity and a core building then im happy

I hope it works out for him I can see the potential, whether we stay up or relegated I think he could be the best person that we have in charge. His managerial record is steady, defensive minded which is something that we’ve been awful with for years, previous connection to the club and feels as if he’s got a bit of shithousery/no nonsense about him We all know that whoever takes over was going to be dealt a shit pack of cards but I think he’s someone given time can help clear out and help rebuild

Probably hasn’t happened in a long time and would take a lot of negotiating but if it’s in the best interest of everyone then worth exploring We’re unlikely to get anything for him, he’s no good to us constantly unavailable and as it stands he could be a League 1 player

Theres every chance you can negotiate to end it earlier which would save the club in the long run

I’d cancel his contract now. Absolute waste of money, im sure there is a pattern of him going off injured when the going gets tough too Offers nothing, crap defender and always injured. Take the hit now and free up wages, rather than waiting a few years for him to walk for free

Still amazes me how we haven’t played a back 5 We’re leaking goals for fun and have issues in attack. 532 or a 541 surely can help solve some of our issues and make us more difficult to play against and give us a different approach in attack

I think because of the money he’s given aswell, I genuinely hate him. He’s been here long enough now, crap footballer all round and should never be given the money he’s on! Genuinely seen better CF’s playing non league football on a fraction he earns, stealing a living! It’s like playing with 10 men, there is zero outlet at all with him up there

Mixed feelings tbh Poor start again and arguably could and should have been 2/3 goals down - Stoke have been goal shy lately and have players out, another day or against a better opposition you get punished for them. Credit to come back into the game and to take a lead but weak mentality to throw away what could be a valuable 2 points come the end of the season. Apart from running around he gives the team nothing - how much money we give him is a disgrace. Majority of the time offside - either in behind or dropping to receive (fast enough to give himself a yard or two and shows he switches off to be offside when receiving), weak as piss, can’t score, plays off 1 touch and majority of the time gives the ball away or hospital pass to team mates, no outlet at all with him that just invites pressure for the rest of the team Hopefully JJ is back soon, maybe in the 10 and worth trying Mukasa as the 9? 🤷‍♂️

Most will overlook this, but why the **** is Mavididi engaging on the press to their CB when Daka is pressing. Lost his man and allowed them to play out with their FB being the free man

The amount we pay for him too is criminal. Has to be one of the worst CF’s we’ve ever had (especially money put into account) and probably the worst CF in this league

I guess when you’re getting paid £50,60,000k+ a week no matter how good or shit youve been they don’t care 🤷‍♂️ As I said, it’s the environment we’ve created. Players will leave and find another club, just look at the season we went down from the premier league first time - 7/8 of those players playing in the Premier League still with others playing elsewhere still on decent money. They don’t care about the club the same way a fan does. Morally wrong and not something I could do but the unfortunate nature of the shit world of football

It’s called getting over-paid, over-pampered and knowing your contract is coming to an end/time at the club. You can’t work with them no matter how many managers, coaches, psychologists etc They have allowed this to happen at the top and this is the environment that we have now been dealt, not an ounce of fight in them

Another part to the problem, our recruitment has been awful and the contracts given out has been a disgrace. Wouldnt trust him overseeing a rebuild whether by miracle we stay or in League 1
