  1. KP Clappers happy to buy your seat on the way out 🤣 Club will be all over this to rinse more money out the fans
  2. Drives me insane when people don’t understand this! This bunch of players have been responsible for 2 relegations but the championship win under Enzo I feel has glossed things over as if they are either good players or capable of winning this league again
  3. I’ll have whatever your taking 🤣
  4. TOTAL RESET NEEDED! Don’t accept that just sacking MC will be the answer
  5. Didn’t we turn Wilder down in the summer too?
  6. If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry 🙃
  7. Want to say you couldn’t make it up 🤣
  8. Not the time or place to be going round hugging players, tbh some of them looked shocked Give them the bollocking they deserve and make it known you ain’t happy with them
  9. A big difference today like every other game, you had one team who are giving everything for the badge and another team full of individuals and too passive Look at the difference in defending, Blackburn was aggressive, throwing themselves into everything, organised We’re soft, unorganised, careless. Look at the reactions of players once they get beat, they stand and watch. Disgrace as always Marti has a lot to answer for as I said last week, this team has no understanding how to win a game but the players make this the most impossible job. Surely it won’t be long till the players have their Xmas piss up somewhere and we’ll get the usual manager out antics to get the fans excited they’ll be some change I think other than Jacub I’d get rid of the lot
  10. I think it’s worse than that, we’re rotten to the core We had some bad times and some very poor players but there seemed to be more fight and a club looking to try and do things within limitations If the people at the very top don’t care, don’t expect anything to change beneath, this is going to get a lot worse
  11. It’s late and Leicester have put me in a bad mood. ChatGPT it and let me know what it says 🤣
  12. Were either banking that he does or it’s just a punt in the hope that someone wants to buy him which I few would be the most King Power mentality, nothing we seem to do has any real thought or planning and more in the scheme of hope/luck
  13. At this point I don’t think sacking him is the answer, everyone knew he was inheriting a mess. If the situation doesn’t improve and we’re in a dangerous league position later down the line then something needs to change I don’t expect us to go straight back up and in all honesty I don’t believe it’s in our best interest too either, we end up in the same position and mask over a lot of the issues temporarily. We need to create an identity again, build a core to the team that will compete and give time to clear out the dead wood My only concern is that he doesn’t seem to be finding a winning formula and addressing some of the issues. A lot of managers now have their way of playing and don’t want to adapt which is where I feel MC currently is too, football trends come and go but at the moment his way of playing is isolating the CF, heavily relying on a player of Ricardos quality and understanding to do the inverted role and also making us vulnerable at the back with Faes, Vesty and Thomas - Faes is too loose, Vesty is slow and too passive and Thomas just can’t defend at all. As a club it feels like because we won the league playing the Maresca way we’ve tried to find a manager who plays a similar style believing it will work again and all will be forgiven and forgot by the fans. Previously we had Doyle who tucked in as a LCB to create a back 3 who is a CB, quality and energy of KDH and Ndidi to arguably have the best midfield in the league and Vardy up top I know it rips up his ‘philosophy’ but maybe he needs to adapt to the players he has, were to easy to score against, players who aren’t as technically good or have the understanding playing this system and players offering nothing up top. Keep it simple and go back to WB’s being WB’s, defenders defending and 2 up top to give us something different as none of who we have are strong enough to play that role as a lone striker
  14. At this point my only guess why we got him a new contract is to hope we can sell him and get bigger profits as he’s home grown
  15. Tbh for any sort of progress players need to be moved on with new blood coming through The academy lads that get mentioned are all 15, 16, 17 year olds with no senior football experience and we have a group of over-payed players that seems like we either can’t move on for whatever reasons or get anything out of them to play for the badge. It seems like we need to wait for players contracts to expire before they go - we seem to reward long contracts at inflated wages so will take years to get rid of most of these and also means we generate no money into the club for transfers which is already a huge issue with all our financial mismanagements. We are in a huge mess and unless there is a change at the very top who is willing to bite the bullet and get their hands dirty, this is our new reality for atleast the next few years
  16. Not signing a CF doesn’t help He was probably the last of any characters we’ve had here that shown any grit and determination though unfortunately Even if Vardy stayed this season I think he/we would of struggled but I do believe we miss his character
  17. Too many are too afraid that they won’t get tickets again if they step out of line/give up their ST Best decision I made not renewing this summer, last season was painful to go down. Club isn’t having my money until things change
  18. More in reference to shitting it against Millwall but agree
  19. Roy Cropper to come on and get the equaliser for us
  20. Chilwell Graduate
  21. Money helps but we’re rotten to the core. Too many who ain’t good enough or on too much money for us to get rid and shuffle the pack. Majority of these players have been responsible for multiple relegations and appalling performances - whilst they are still here we’re going to be constantly dragged down until enough of the rot has gone
  22. What the **** is he playing at there!?
  23. However much I agree, I still believe Vichai played a huge part. He’s helped build the infrastructure of the club back, treated every player as if they were family (which has always been Leicester’s identity) and without his financial backing we wouldn’t of been able to compete - granted we’ve won the league with the ‘cheapest’ of teams but we still had players on wages we’d of never had been able to afford and broke transfer records. But as always, football isn’t a simple business and it does take bringing in the right management/back room staff etc who are capable of building something special too I think where people can’t differentiate is, we’ve had a completely different approach from King Power since Top took the reins. The club has slowly been rotting internally to the point it is in now, there is no relationship between ownership and fans, players don’t seem to be happy here or have any relationship with Top and we’ve gone from being ran very well to having no real direction/responsibility. Any fans who have followed things closely have been raising concerns about where the club has been heading for the past 4-5 years, however there is a lot that think we’ll either all of a sudden become the envy of the world again or believe that KP has an unlimited amount of time due to recent success/Vichai passing. We are too busy living in the past and fearful of believing that it’s now impossible to have ambition to lose the tag of ‘little old Leicester’. Media spoon-fed everyone that the Premier League is too big of a step for any promoted sides now, look how much everyone accepted getting relegated with a lot just believing we’ll just walk the championship this season. I think it’s going to take a few years in the championship and to see some players like Fatawu, Monga and Ricardo to have left for the alarm bells to start ringing for some before they start questioning how far the club has fell. Unfortunately it could be too late by then with too much damage caused, a lot of fans want action now/last few seasons whilst we were still a club held in high regards.
  24. Football ideologies are like trends but it also depends on what you have available and how well you can deliver it too Arguably we were the best at being a low black counter attacking team but we also had players that adapted to that style too. It took a little while to perfect, a lot of those players were apart of a very attacking team in the championship but sitting in and hurting teams with energy going forward is what won us the league. We were also underdogs going into that season so that style suited us, we weren’t blessed with speed in behind with Huth and Morgan but teams wanted to attack us which allowed us to play to our strengths. I really like the concept Brentford are doing, they are looking to play out by inviting pressure and then hitting in the top line and playing off that taking the risk leaving attacking players higher up. I think part of our problem is we have a midfield who get overran and we’re poor at defending. Being more direct could open up the game but I think what we’ve found is when we don’t have the ball we look vulnerable and that starts with how poor Faes and Vesty are at defending. We can’t afford to lose the ball and teams are happy to sit a little deeper against us doubling up on players like Fatawu knowing they can hurt us in numbers on a break
  25. Realistically where do people expect us to be based on all the deadwood and toxicity around the club for us to be? Cooper and RvN was bad appointments but I’m willing to give Marti time The club is a mess at the very top, which unfortunately things don’t seem to be getting better there. We have a squad of players who either don’t care or not good enough with the odd few who are worthy of putting on the shirt. He has shown a desire to be here, he is trying to build a relationship with the fans and ultimately trying to work with what he’s got whilst having a potential points deduction hanging over our heads. The bloke is unfortunately stuck between a rock and a hard place with what he has got available, he’s barely had any pre season and whilst some of the football and results have been frustrating, he has been picking up some points. Theres a lot more I would change within the club before looking at the manager, we need a bit of stability and somebody who actually wants to be here. The position the club is in I don’t think we’ll be getting much better in that him but I think we could certainly be pulling in a lot worse
