  1. Someone needs to tell them, wind them up a bit more.
  2. Disappointing to see so many MPs coming out to bat for a team that ****ing cheated.
  3. The first England manager I remember. Euro 96 was such a special tournament for me. RIP.
  4. They just never learn
  5. Yeah, cos signing an Argentine has gone well for us in the past.
  6. Would love a good stream please.....
  7. Well that really hammers it home.
  8. No idea why they used a sticker from a glory hole.
  9. That's nothing to do with the points deduction, that's just Liverpool.
  10. Classic case of mainstream politics having absolutely no idea how to deal with far right twats. I remember in 2012 people laughing a Le Pen for only coming 3rd the French elections 1st round, as if she was defeated. 10 years later she came second in the 2nd round with double the number of votes as before and will be a massive threat in 2027. UKIP got 4m votes in 2015 but just 1 MP - I still cannot for the life of me understand why people were shocked that Brexit happened. And now look at the state of the Tories.
  11. - Sponsorship deals (FBS for starters are no longer our main shirt sponsor; King Power have had to step in to sponsor us at Championship market value which should be considerably lower) https://www.lcfc.com/partnerships currently lists 12 "partners" currently. I'm sure that number was higher (maybe double) in previous seasons but web.archive.org currently isn't loading for me - if anyone can find a snapshot of that page it would be handy Even so, those deals would have had clauses in them in case of relegation to either opt-out or reduce the money involved. Weakened exposure for potential sponsors. - Devalued assets - Maddison, Barnes and Castagne for a start. Plus we *could* make the argument that relegation weakened our position with contract negotiations for other players who left. - Merchandise exposure - Stadium expansion put on hold which will cost money in planning/legal/architect/construction fees etc until we can start building, and even then the delayed build weakens our revenue capability because we went from being a regular top six club with regular European football and regularly challenging for trophies or being competitive in every competition (won the FA Cup and Community Shield but also had semi finals in the League Cup and the European Conference League - plus at least 7 quarter-finals in just the last 5 years) which we will now struggle to reattain. - Having to rebuild our entire squad AND still having to employ Danny Ward. - TV money: The Premier League's broadcast deal, which in itself is absolutely corrupt, earns clubs £1.2m per game when they're selected by the broadcasters In the Championship I believe it's £100,000 per game but can't find a reliable figure at this time of night. International TV money practically nothing compared to in the Premier League For me, £100m isn't anywhere near enough from Everton, but it's all a pittance to what we should be claiming from Man City when they're charged. I don't care what the figure is personally. I just want our future back.
  12. We played with 442 that whole season
  13. Complaining about being caught being corrupt while actively enabling corruption. Everton no long have a single leg to stand on. (the legs have been nicked and replaced with bricks at this point)
  14. I would absolutely piss myself if Spurs have their only trophy this century stripped from them.
  15. There is absolutely going to have to be a complete restructure of the footballing pyramid soon. This cannot be allowed to continue as it is. So many basic things need to change, starting with the UK broadcast deal that is the very basis of the corruption in the league. The Saturday 3pm blackout is not only antiquated but literally feeds the inequality and downright corruption in the game. It has to go, and it has to be replaced with a fair, modern system whereby every single match is freely available at a fair price and every club gets a fair cut, and every fan gets fair access to each game in the same way absolutely everyone else on the planet does. Something barely covered by anyone regarding Newcastle: There needs to be an urgent investigation by the Premier League and FIFA over every transfer from the Premier League "big" clubs to the Saudi Pro League - over the value of said transfers and/or the salaries involved. Mahrez Eduoard Mendy Saint-Maximin Firminho Fabinho Kante Laporte Telles Koulibaly Henderson - All from top 6 clubs Neves Mitrovic Gray - from Wolves, Fulham and Everton Neves in particular has been linked recently with a move to Newcastle either on loan or at a knocked-down price. The "Public Investment Fund", who own Newcastle United, took out 75% stakes in Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, and Al-Nassr, who took the bulk of those players. Currently PL clubs have to vote 14 out of 20 in favour of something for it to be passed. That's there to mitigate the "big six" making decisions only in their favour. Chelsea and Man City bought their way in to the "top" clubs, and Newcastle will be doing the same. Their "ascension" gives the richest clubs, plus Tottenham, complete control over the Premier League rule making. This is corruption in our game, pure and simply and pretty much in your ****ing face. The Athletic today have published our own government's complicity in the PIF takeover: https://theathletic.com/5077168/2023/11/21/newcastle-saudi-takeover-emails/ @Foxes_Trust THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO BE TALKING ABOUT. WRITE TO OUR MPS, WRITE TO LABOUR'S SHADOW SPORT MINISTER. PLANS MUST BE IN PLACE WHEN THEY BECOME GOVERNMENT.
  16. They were officially found guilty by UEFA in 2014 - they accepted a world record fine of £49m and had their Champions League squad reduced to 21 players for 3 years as well as limits on transfer spending. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/may/16/manchester-city-fine-transfer-cap-uefa-ffp#:~:text=Manchester City accept £49m fine and transfer cap from Uefa over FFP,-This article is&text=Manchester City have reluctantly accepted, new financial fair play regime. They were also officially found guilty in 2020 - with a ban from Europe for two seasons and €30m fine, which was overturned by CAS in four months later - 66% of the panel was nominated/appointed by Man City, which didn't actually clear Man City of anything, just declared that their cheating was "time-barred" because it happened over 5 years ago (they'd point blank refused to cooperate with UEFA for over 5 years). And if they're found guilty by the Premier League, see below: Then the CAS decision is null, and serious questions will have to be asked.
  17. We have a statement from the EFL explicitly clearing us of any wrongdoing AND conceding that their rules were too open to interpretation in the first place. So I ask Everton fans:
