What’s the point in using the loan system and getting these guys experience if you still can’t even trust them in league one. The one position we definitely don’t need anyone is RB. Joseph has had a good loan in League 2 and Aluko has shown some promise. Both can do a job on the other side too.

He’s not my pick (maybe after seeing what he does with a full season at Newport) but since he took over they were 19th in the form table and 7 clear of relegation. I’m not sure what their budget is and expectations but it’s not too bad. Their home form for a side at the bottom is what’s kept them up. 15 games, 6 wins, 3 draws, 6 losses. Someone would have to look it up but just having a quick scan it looks like he’s used a lot of players around 21-24 as well
