Was it Ranieri's fault? The Board? Rodgers? Or a culmination of all three?? Holloway took us down to the third tier before, which we know. But it was different then. How did Ranieri implode so badly the following season? His sick mother back home in Italy meant too much time away from the training ground, for starters. Did the rot set in there? And just what were the Board thinking of when they appointed the clueless RVN?? And why stick with him for so long?? Would love to have met George Best , one of the world's greatest ever players and Roger Moore, the best 007 by far. Those alive would include David Jason, Michael Caine, Sophia Loren and George Lazenby.

When I was covering Leicester in the 1980s, players like him wouldn't have even made the reserves. We have become so desperate that anyone who has a decent game is suddenly a 'brilliant' player. Just my opinion. Go down to London on a Sunday and there are a thousand Mavididi's all playing Sunday League football. Is this what we have resorted to?? We need grisly, nasty experienced players, the sort O'Neil used to unearth to get us out of this mess, not overhyped nobody's.

He's just the sort of player you see playing in any random Sunday league side in Leicestershire or wherever....Totally over rated like the rest of the side.

There are lots of decent managers about and when I say decent I mean managers who have a proven track record of success. LCFC are not going to get the head coaches at Lincoln and Cardiff in L1 and Paul Warne at MK Dons in L2 (for example) who have just got their clubs promoted. But we could try and get a manager such as Nathan Jones at Charlton. He played a vital role in Luton's rise from League 2 to the Premier League in 2 successful spells and was also Brighton's Assistant Head Coach. Leicester are a bigger club than Charlton and I believe Jones would be tempted by the challenge having secured Championship survival for Charlton this season. And btw, I don't think Andy King is management material.

Maybe it would be a better crack going over to Belgium and supporting the mighty Louvren....must be cheap to get in.....

Chilwell didn't play in the title winning team that season. He was on loan with Huddersfield from us from 19 November, 2015 and then returned to the KP on Jan 3, 2016. He then joined Chelsea for 40 million in August 2020. He's currently plying his trade with Strasbourg.

If only Carlsberg did LCFC matches, we would win our last three matches, Daka and Ayew would get a hat trick in each of our 6-0 wins, Vestergaard would break into a sweat and Maviidididididididi and Fattawawuwu would stop running around with chicken tikka Musala like headless chickens. Oh and Rowett would stop saying 'I'm baffled 'cos the lads were great in training.'
