To be fair, even on paper, our strike force is dogshit. I never understand the on paper analogy. On paper ayew has never been a good striker. On paper Daka hasn’t been good since a half decent stint in a league one equivalent foreign league. Our team is absolute dog muck, they aren’t under performing, they are just terrible players with god awful attitudes. We just think they should be better than they are because we know they are being paid ridiculous wages. But the truth is, they are all shocking.

I mean, even if we don’t go down this season and stay up by the skin of our teeth, it’s plainly obvious that nothing changes next season and it will be Déjà vu. It’s almost like we need another relegation to fully press reset. its a weird one. I don’t want Leicester to get relegated for obvious reasons, but on the flip side I wouldn’t be upset about it because it’s a massive middle finger to management and owners who are reaping what they sow

End of the day we have a better squad on paper than the teams around us that we are fighting against to stay up. Of that there is no question. But the kicker is, the teams around us have miles more spirit, determination and a doggedness to grind out results to help their cause. And that’s what keeps teams up when it comes down to it. We have technically better players, but NONE of the qualities actually needed to make that show through.
