England vs Argentina - Weds 15th July - 20.00 (BST)
Reynaldo replied to StanSP's topic in World Cup 2026
That was so shit! Worst thing we did was score because after that we went full on Southgate with a defence that wasn’t capable of it! Diabolical -
I mean, Spain looked good, but I don’t see anything there that England can’t beat if they get to the final and are on it.

I’ve decided this season I’m not going to watch one single minute of manager interviews. Interviews are bullshit and prove nothing. If we’ve learned anything in the past 5 years is that’s it’s all bluster. All I’m interested in is what happens on the pitch. -
If I had to choose a winner Id want Spain to go through. France would just rip our defence a new arse hole over and over again in the final At least V Spain itd be competitive.

Thing is, even an aging Danny Ings is likely to be astronomically better than what weve had for the past few years, and now in an easier league as well. I think for one season, this type of signing is a no brainer. If he stays fit and hungry, he could easily hit 20 goals in a season. Must just be me because I quite like this signing. Ings isnt a player to hang around for 5 years and get us up through the leagues again, but he IS a player who could get us out of League One at the first attempt.

I know it’s clutching at straws based on how much Morocco are not trying to win, but we could be 45 minutes away from being favourites for the World Cup for me if Morocco can find a second gear!

Last nights game was a shock to the system. I hadn’t felt that anxious, excited, nervy feelings in any game since the Chelsea cup final. It shows the love for the game is still there, it’s just not there currently for Leicester City

Whoooooooo?? -
That was like watching Leicester
-
This might have been asked already but a quick look through the thread I can’t find anything. But what’s the likely scenario regarding pubs opening for the last 16 England game? Assuming we win the group that’s a 1am kick off on a Monday morning. Are we all likely to be watching this at home?

Toxic club - an inconvenient truth about our fans

Tell you all what was weird from my point of view. Cheering Englands goals against Croatia like it actually meant something. Over the past what, 2 and a bit years, I’d completely forgotten what that feels like. That’s the sad truth. -

Well this goes down as the worst opening ceremony I’ve ever seen for a tournament. -
It’s probably in the hundreds of millions if you look at what we’ve done since Vichai died. Imagine that in any other industry, costing your boss hundreds of millions of pounds, yet still keeping your job

remember going out on an all day bender in Hinckley to watch this. Final whistle went and we decided the best way to celbrate, pissed up, was to make our was over to Skegness for the night. Ended up in some random nightclub, all with our Leicester tops on, being sang at by the entire ngihtclub when we sung we are going up. Then slept in the car in a seafront car park, and drove back the next morning. Those were the days

I mean, if there were no advantages to be had by spying, then why do it?

Just got back from having a nosey at the Lincoln City Parade. Those were the days when we all actually had a club worth shouting about…
-
I think it’s fair to say that had Blackburn actually needed anything from today’s game, they’d of just taken it like every other team has this season.
-
knackered both my knees up doing a knee slide on my front room carpet celebrating that goal. Oh wait, no i didnt.

Must draw

There is absolutely no way in hell the ground last night was more than half full. So that’s just 16,000 right there. And an educated guess would say it was lower than that.
-
What was the attendance on Tuesday, I mean it literally looked half full at best
-
The only sad part for me in this catastrophic decline, is that I don’t actually give a shit anymore
-
I’m purely watching now in the hope something happens from the stands. Anything, pitch invasion, scrambling to get to the directors box, anything
