  1. I dunno, the analogy i was thinking of when you're at uni and meet a lass, she's a looker but you're on different paths and never really interact. You get a career, you get married, have kids, mortgage, all going cushty, until one day it all ends, you end up in huge debt having lost your job, have to move back in with the parents and then one night you're in the boozer and you see that lass from years ago, you get cracking on and before you know it, you realised you were made for eachother you're in a relationship, step dad to 3 kids, you eventually clear your debts and you get back on track and lifes good again. That might be what russell martin is.
  2. Russell martin is inevitable it feels. Maybe his experience getting humiliated in the prem and doing dog at rangers (trying to get a bunch of s**t kickers to do tika taka was never going to work) may have made him re-evaluate how to do things. He is very good at working with young technical players and I wouldn't write him off. He fits a profile of what we are looking for as a manager with a point to prove. I am not convinced by challinor & skubala because they're working within a framework where everyone is alligned and focused in the same direction. I don't think we should be losing our heads if it is martin. He's not the worst option out there.
  3. Yes stansfield is excellent
  4. A player we should've gone all out to sign as vardy's long term replacement but nooooo we had to go buy oliver skipp ☺️
  5. I think you're massively under-estimating lincoln. They have everything alligned at that club to succeed and the managers that leave lincoln after success end up struggling elsewhere. If skubala leaves lincoln to come to us, lincoln will have another talented coach lined up to take them forward. They're backed by investors who know what they're doing. I can definitely see a scenario where they go up to the prem in the next 5 years. Skubala may not be able to handle stepping from lincoln to leicester in the same way frank struggled at spurs when leaving brentford.
  6. Rowett stuck in 2012 running the version of this system that leicester worked out how to counter and won the premier league doing 4-4-2. No wonder we had the lowest passes in the final third in the league.
  7. Seeing souttar score, can someone check in on ric flair? Feel that may have sent him over the edge.
  8. He's probably going to be considered for a top end championship job in the summer and has earned that opportunity considering he's managed to get a woeful squad to stay in the division.
  9. Latest manager odds and anyone putting money on maresca is out if their mind lmao
  10. Would not be surprised if we go in for callum mcfarlane since twice now he's been made interim chelsea manager and been working with youth players. Huge risk and don't know if he has the minerals.
  11. I would normally agree with integrity of the league but playing the kids is a genuine improvement on these lazy overpaid ********
  12. Has iborra done his coaching badges?
  13. Football is mental. In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue.
  14. My advice to skubala is, not now.
  15. Dunno if this has been brought up before and fair play for him to stand there and take it last night, but I have a chant for him. HE PLAYS LIKE HE DRIVES, HE PLAYS LIKE DRIVES, HAMZA CHOUDHURY, HE PLAYS LIKE HE DRIVES 🍻
  16. Top was literally removed from making any decision making role in the king power business, people who are actual experts in duty free and aviation businesses took over. It's extremely annoying there aren't other stakeholders in the leicester business. This is why we need a 50+1 rule in the efl so fans can actually veto custodians of football clubs who do a bad job. If we had 50+1 we could sack rudkin.
  17. While Rudkin is at the club, this will not happen. Morgan has ambitions for the boardroom and he left us to go back to forest. Can only read between the lines.
  18. Starting a campaign to lift sanctions off Iran so we can get sportswashed by the supreme leader πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
  19. If I'm jeremy monga, I would be waiting for dortmund come in, do everything to get out there. He will have an opportunity to start in the bundesliga, play champions league and be away from the english press, and he won't be bench warming at arsenal and man city. He deserves so much better than to be playing league one football.
  20. In terms of championship players ending their contracts, we will desperately need players over the age of 27 in order to have someone guiding younger players. Some realistic options; Tom Davies - CM (27)- sheff united - has had rotten luck with injuries and hasn't been able to stay fit. League One would be a good level for him to get back on track. Experience will be great for the youngsters and he will be hungry to prove himself. Liam Cooper - CB (34) - we will need a new club captain and i have always admired him as a personality. With no centre backs left at the club, this is a position we need and he is proven leader and winner. Should be fit following his groin injury by july. Emiliano Marcondes - AM (31) - his career at norwich is over, creative player who will be a top performer in league one. Will have a point to prove given how badly its gone at norwich. No, I am not excited either, but we need actually personalities and players with points to prove. It's how we recruited before the decline.
  21. If we want king power out, and we are serious, then there is only one course of action. Don't buy tickets. Don't give the club any more money. And, if you're brave enough, invade the pitch and stop the games from happening. Go to the training ground and form a blockade. Don't let anyone in to train. Make it completely untenable. We either allow the slow death of our club to continue until we shake buckets at the ground or we do something.
  22. Nottingham Forest away in the fa cup. When Rodgers requested a refresh.
  23. Oh god we're going to end up with alan sheehan aren't we
