  1. Not everyone did, if you actually watched him
  2. £8m was rejected from Sunderland, Ipswich probably paid more to make the deal in installments
  3. 12m over 3 years Tight ****ers
  4. More a case of Chelsea needed it and we needed the amount for KDH to balance the books
  5. They have brought in £75m and don’t have a giant wage bill. In 23/24 ours was 107m theirs was 44m
  6. Yeah and his value has doubled, with that being the point
  7. He asked to leave on on loan as he didn’t want to be a left sided cb
  8. He didn’t want to drop down and play last time, what’s changed apart from his options. Bad egg, sell
  9. Hopefully for you it’s just to the airport
  10. The comparison should be with the last time we were relegated as we know the wage bill, wages and salaries for the club was £107m down 49% from the previous year £205m so deduct any movement from when the accounts were submitted (post KDH sale) till now and include incomings during that period till now as those wages are an additional cost.
  11. It wasn’t meant as a “gotcha” I was pointing out that both had a similar spell in the Championship: a decent run followed by a fade in form, each ending up with two assists across 6–7 starts. Yet you’ve consistently said Kasey is only League One level, while your main defence of Daka was his goals and assists that same season, overlooking the fact that his numbers also came in a short cluster. It seems fair to say you backed Daka strongly while he was here, and if your opinion has changed, that’s only after his run of poor performances last season. “But claiming Daka is a poor (or inconsistent or unreliable or any other synonym) finisher is statistically, factually, objectively false.” “Patson Daka, who is predictably taking pelters here, had a higher G+A/90 last season than Szmodics” “In fact, he had higher than everyone in the league other than Vardy. I'm just bored of the disrespect for Daka. Yes, he missed a couple of costly sitters this year, but he also ended up as the second most productive player in the league, weighted for minutes played, behind only the actual GOAT” “You watch an Erling Haaland highlight reel and it's ridiculous how many of them are just ugly tap ins or opportunist goals because - almost magically - the ball just seems to always land at his feet if its loose in the box. Once or twice is good fortune, consistently is just excellent instincts and positioning. Daka is like that. He scores a LOT of true poachers goals. His highlight reel for us looks like a lot of shithouse scruff if you take each goal individually out of context. When it's a pattern, though, its impressive” “Daka is comfortably our best striker it isn't even close anymore. He played well against Leeds, albeit he did butcher one hideous chance” “Patson Daka who, with 0.03 less than world class talent Jamie Vardy, had the second most G+A/90 of any player in the Championship with more than 1000 minutes with 0.99? FiRiNg BlAnKs”
  12. Sounds familiar, yet it didn’t stop you banging the drum for Daka for a similar purple patch and not scoring in his final 6 starts of 23/34
  13. Fin Azaz 12 goals 11 assists, £12m offer Some context on values, for stand out Championship performances for those that think £40m plus is a paltry amount.
  14. A good signing, he has good numbers for the last few seasons
  15. 2 new tracksuits and a wallet with gps tracking for the next time he loses his bank card
  16. David Ornstein broke the news, Fab tweets 🔔
  17. He is not a world beater now, Maddison territory, done well at palace with goal contributions, though it could be a case of big fish little pond

  19. Yes impressive, but surpassed repeatedly over the last 2 seasons by other wingers in the same league. A Tad overrated by some fans thinking his worth 50m to 60m plus coming back from a serious injury. He will struggle getting 13 assists if we have Daka and Ayew as the forwards. Barnes had 6 goals and 10 assists in the top flight and had produced over multiple seasons. Maddison exceeded those numbers both inclusive of English tax and desirability, yet similar amounts that are being deemed as too low for Fatawu who is a risk for the buying club.
  20. 40m is a phenomenal price for someone who is yet to prove themselves in the top flight. Case and point being Barnes.
  21. Maybe a tad overrated by some, 6 goals and 13 assists last time in the championship in a team romping the league. 3 of those goals came in one game and another 3 in 39 appearances. If we can get HB type of money £40 million with sell ons, and strengthen key areas with new blood I’d sell. He is an exciting young player, but we have been starved of any good attacking players for a while. Mavididi got 12 goals, can he play on the right if Fatawu was sold with Monga starting on the left and hopefully exceeding Fatwau previous output. For me it would all depend, on what could be done with the money that comes in.
  22. Birmingham City have reportedly set their sights on a shock move for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
  23. These little helmet journalist just rehash stories after they have broke and add a bit of spin like they are well informed
